The price and bioavailability are the two major advantages to this Magnesium Glycinate. The downside is the size. These babies are big! This seems to be one of the most bioavailable forms of Mg available. Definitely better than most multivitamins that use Magnesium Oxide. I used to prefer the citrate version, but a little too much and you will spend a lot of time in the bathroom. I take three tablets daily, in divided doses, with calcium citrate and never experience problems. My labs were much improved so Amazon's supplement is performing as intended. I'm sure some people like the convenience of taking fewer pills, but my recommendation for improvement is to either concentrate the dosage (if possible), or simply split the dose further to make the tablets smaller. Since I take 3 Mg and 4 Ca a day, it's a lot to swallow. ... show more

I love these. They are so helpful. They really help me to sleep. I've tried other brands of magnesium, but none of them work as well as these. They're big and could be hard to swallow, but it's worth it if it works.

I've had a hard time finding a budget friendly source of Magnesium Glycinate. These appear to be great. I've only taken them a few days but my sleep has been as good as before when using a much more expensive product. The pill size is not all that unusually large for a supplement tablet. Yes they're on the large side, but I have some tablets in my daily routine that are even larger. At this price it would be worth the trouble to cut them in half if you have a problem.
