Comfy like a car bucket seat! =) Velvet feels almost suede-like, very soft! (I used x2 coats of lightly sprayed Scotchguard, waterproofing fabric protector on mine, immediately post assembling). Beige will be difficult to keep clean, guests will want to keep touching the velvet with dirty dinner hands, LOL. Assembly was easy but took half a day, by myself. Shipping arrived early within a couple days & was packaged very well, no damage. The gold legs are a deep yellow gold brass color. Be sure to match the color of screws to the assembled part, the red arrow points toward the knees (assemble legs so knees are slanting higher up, longer legs going forward, prevents chair bottom from slanting down). And tighten the black floor protector tabs tight. Quality is flawless, but eventually the fabric will bubble as glue separates from the foam because there are no "tefted" buttons keeping the fabric glued down tight, even with light sitting use. I do not recommend these where young are kids around, fabric is delicate & leaning back it feels less sturdy. Price was $20 less than 'TarJay' and these leg colors are a bit brighter gold.
