It was risky buying 1 carat studs online, but I'm glad I did. I wanted to buy from a local shop in case there was a problem with the setting or something, but I would have spent 2.5x as much. Not too much to tell here. The diamonds do sparkle and seems to mounted well. Screws are the best to ensure the backs do not come off. Seems to be easy to screw on and holds well.

The earrings are stunning. They are a bright white gold and so far we have had no issues. But they come in a little baggie, which made it difficult to give as a gift, and difficult to store when not wearing-otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

6 months of wearing is DONE. These are screw back, instead of friction and post. Got them for my wife. A nice, all purpose, every day QUALITY stud. Or so I thought. I got the screw back so they would not FALL OFF. Well guess what. Fell off in bed. We can't find, so now she has only the one earring. She has stud and post that have lasted 20+ years.
