I was hesitant to purchase furniture sight unseen, and after visiting many discount-type furniture stores and researching numerous options online, I decided to take a chance with this chair as the reviews were very good. I was pleasantly surprised when the chair arrived (just screw on the feet) to see the fabric was very nice looking (I formerly worked in the home fashion design field and particular about fabric and fit) and the chair was reasonably comfortable. It's a fairly firm seat, so if you like to sink into a chair, this one isn't for you. The seams were all done nicely, though the bottom edge of the seat cushion doesn't sit exactly straight, but I may be one of the few that would pick it up as I was trained to see these sort of things. All in all, an excellent value for the money, and I saw lesser chairs at local stores that were double the price. If I could add an "I wish..." to this chair, it would be to make it a bit heavier/sturdier feeling, but it's not a deal breaker. Buy this chair - you won't be disappointed! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Simple, clean designed accent chair that fits in many room. The fabric is soft to the touch with colors that warm up the room. The price was reasonably priced, however, I wish there was matching pillow that goes with the chair. Overall, I still think its great value compared to other brand named stores. ... show more

The Denim chair is a dark blue, and really looks somewhat like an indigo/navy - really nice shade - We love it! It is well-made, sturdy, a higher seat, which is very firm, perfect width 30.7" packed well and arrived on time. I researched this Amazon brand, Stone & Beam and learned that it is manufactured in the US....so all of the foam, padding, cloth and wood is sourced from the US. The metals may come from outside the country. Beautifully assembled, and you can place it in any room. Ours is in a very small den and looks perfect. Our new sofas from Stone & Beam are coming soon also. They are "stone" color, great fabric 95% poly and 5% nylon - got the swatch, very soft but durable. So with the sofas we are going to add a chair, in the "storm" color" - got a swatch and it is darker than the pictures online. That color of gray (storm) is a very clean looking charcoal gray. So cool we cannot wait. This Amazon brand I trust. By the way, please understand - this is the first time I have ever ordered furniture online. This was a venture well worth the time. One other thing, I had ordered the patch for the sofas in july...and just finally decided to try Stone & Beam. The prices are 1/3 of retail for the quality, seriously. AND FREE SHIPPING! Thank you Amazon!! OK, the "storm" chair arrived today - perfect, a light to medium soft gray, this brand is consistent in quality workmanship very nice fabric. A great value at three times the price. January 31st, I just ordered a 3rd chair in the storm. We nave a storm chair in the den, and the new storm chair will go in the living room and the denim chair I am putting in the bedroom. Did I tell you that I ordered 3 of the same pole lamps from Amazon? When we like something....we really don't mind having more than one of each....and I do like consistency, very relaxing and it works for us. Thank you again Amazon! Feb 9th decided to get another Denim chair for the living room...so that will be our 4th Stone and Beam chair....we will have 2 denim and 2 storm. Seriously, the lines of these chairs are clean - and the comfort is wonderful. So glad we have finally rounded out our living room, den and bedroom....everything works. High quality chair for great price. Arrived in a large box that was dented, but contents were all safe. Just install the legs and you’re good to go! Chair is comfortable and deep seat is inviting. Highly recommend.

I needed a smaller size chair to fit into my living room and ordered the denim colored version. It arrived undamaged and was easily assembled (just attaching the legs). The chair is sturdy but comfortable and looks far better than the price point would indicate. I'm six foot, 215 lbs, and it fits me quite well.     • A winner for an inexpensive occasional chair!

Bought this for an inexpensive option in our small living room and I am so surprised at how comfortable I find it! I'm petite (5'2", ~100 lbs) and I love to sit in it, regularly or cross-legged. It fits a small space without being obtrusive and has a great, clean shape to it. Obviously it's a cheap furniture option, so it probably won't last forever and there's a small spot on one arm where the upholstery puckers, which annoys me, but you get what you pay for. The seat cushion is only upholstered on one side, so you can't flip it, but again that's a cost-cutter for manufacturers. It's quite firm though, so you aren't likely to have major sagging on the seat to the point that you'd really resent being unable to flip it. I think the size and firmness actually makes it perfect for a smaller elderly person too (my petite 93-year-old grandmother quite likes it). The marshmallow color is neutral and the fabric is not scratchy at all, but is fairly tightly woven which makes it easy to vacuum. Overall happy with the purchase. ... show more

The chair seems well made, but the fabric feels really cheap. It's a very rough texture like a tightly woven burlap bag. Not comfortable against the skin. It is also a dark charcoal grey, not the medium-light grey as shown in the photo.
