I don't usually write reviews, but because K-Cups are getting expensive, I'd thought I'd share. I usually buy name brands, Maxwell House, Folgers, ECT. In the past when I bought a off brand it was terrible. So I thought I'd try the Donut Blend since it was on sale. I usually drink a breakfast blend but the price was $40 for a 100, which was to hight I thought. I will tell you the Donut Blend was "Excellent!" Not tart,to strong or bitter. So the $28 for 100 was well worth It. I promise you won't regret it. I only wish they would have all there blends the same price. Your gonna really like this coffee. Listen to the reviews that say you can't make a full 12oz cup with this brand. It's so weak you can see the bottom of the cup through the coffee unless you do 8oz and then that takes 3 pods to fill a travel mug. Makes the coffee much more expensive than initially expected. The flavor is good though, and I'm glad they weren't more expensive or this would be a 2 star review. It's an okay value for the price, especially if you like your coffee on the weaker side. ... show more

I first bought this when Amazon put it on sale for half what I paid for it this time. I expected the price to go up after the introduction of it, but was hoping they'd continue to offer it at a better price than what it's become. Still, we've tried just about every nationally familiar brand of K-cups out there, and all of the three grinds in this package easily stand up to the biggest brand names you can think of. I don't even have a favorite; they're all good. Just pick one up, pop it into the machine, and I know it's going to be good. Something else: a LOT of the national brands sold by the Great-Big-Warehouse-Stores-I-Won't-Mention have raised their prices to close to that of this product, but have reduced the number of K-cups to 94, sometimes 96. Apparently they believe people will continue to buy less product for more money. This is a full 100-count box of assorted coffee pods, delivered to the door, decent price, good flavor. For the price, this is good stuff. I love dark roast coffee and this stuff is delicious. I’ve been ordering it for over two years now and I’ve never had a problem with the pods or the taste. It’s consistent and, again, quite delicious. I’m not a heavy cream user, but I do dig a little splash and it adds a nice “enhancement.” If you’re a multiple cup drinker or have company coming, etc., you can’t go wrong. I love donutshop coffee but I hate paying the price for them. These are second best taste wise, I bought the same ones from target and you only get half the K-cups for 10 dollars. This is the best price I have seen for K-cups.

This coffee is pretty good for everyday, especially if you take cream or milk. The flavor is very strong, and adding cream or milk makes it just the right strength of dark coffee for us. Making less than 8 oz made it too strong for me, almost bitter. We use a standard Keurig coffee maker, no bells and whistles, just heat the water and push the button. We will probably buy this brand again, but will also try the medium roast as an experiment for smoother flavor. ... show more
