Fraction of the cost and we’ve had no fleas! We live in a dog friendly complex that is riddled with fleas. This keeps them off our dog completely and she has a very thick coat. If you’re late on the dosages the fleas will come so make sure to keep track of when you need to apply again.

We have used both Frontline Plus or Simparica Trio for flea treatment on our two large dogs. We’d been using Frontline Plus for the last ~year, usually only every 2-3 months as directed (you only need monthly for active fleas). I decided to give the Amazon brand a shot at the start of December 2023. It was cheaper and we had stopped taking our dogs to the dog park due to a bad dog sickness roaming our area, so they were at less risk for fleas anyways. We had a vet checkup for our shaved poodle about 3 weeks after Amazon’s first dose and the vet saw a flea on her (probably from our one Christmas visit to family with outdoor dogs). We were sent home with 1 Nexguard flea treatment from the vet for her. With vet permission I gave it to our poodle a week early, and realized I forgot to get a 2nd Nexguard for our other dog, a husky. I gave our husky a second Amazon dose thinking that would at least kill any fleas on him now, and we’d keep him home for the next month before getting him a different medication. We cleaned our home from top to bottom 2 days later. And yet a week later we found some fleas on our husky. Nothing on our poodle. Needless to say, this medication isn’t effective. We’ve NEVER had fleas before, even though we used to go to the dog park every day and visited this family quite regularly. Will never buy this again. ... show more

I needed flea treatment fast, and this did the job. It’s affordable, works well, and was a great value for something I needed immediately. That said, for long-term use, I’d recommend looking into something less toxic for your pup’s health. I have used bravecto too expensive every 3 months I tried seresto pricy as well but lasts a long time, this amazon I got it for $20 6months 🤯 I am on my 3rd month no fleas, I saw the reviews about this product killing dogs, look up reviews dogs dying as well on bravecto seresto Frontline, these medicines aren't for sensitive doggies, as with all new medication you need to monitor your babies for side effects, if you see distress rinse it off quickly, it's very sad but it happens, over all I am satisfied but I'll probably go back to seresto I don't like remembering to put the medicine monthly, but next time I feel a pinch in my bank account this is my go too 👍 ... show more

The price point is great and the product contains the same active ingredients as the name brand. My dog didn't mind the application and it wasn't overly greasy or smelly. Just as importantly, though, the fleas weren't phased by it at all. I live in an apartment and the neighbor's dog has fleas. After any given walk, my dog has 2-3 fleas on him. We're now dealing with an infestation. I'm going to switch to the overly expensive vet brands until this is under control. I am really impressed with the Amazon Basics Flea and Tick Topical Treatment for my large dog! It works just as well as the more expensive brands, but at a fraction of the cost. What I Loved The treatment was easy to apply and didn’t have a strong odor, which was a relief. My dog didn’t experience any irritation, and within a day or two, I noticed a significant decrease in scratching and no signs of fleas or ticks. The best part is that it provided full protection for the entire month, just as promised. Affordability Compared to what I’ve paid at the vet for flea and tick treatments, this is a much more budget-friendly option. It’s just as effective but at a much lower price, making it an excellent choice for keeping my dog flea-free without breaking the bank. Final Thoughts I’m so glad I found this product!
