I bought this as part of a gift for my parents for Christmas. They usually drink 6-8 cups a day each. Well not all 100 pods would fit in the basket so I kept a few for myself and my husband. It isn't too strong and isn't too weak. It tastes really good and is a great price for the amount you get.

Had a cup of the Happy Belly Donut Style this morning and I can't really find anything to complain about. Nice aroma, smooth, decent flavor, although not as strong as my normal brand. I waited to see how the wife would react to the new brand and she came to the same conclusion. The Happy Belly was not quite as bold as our typical morning mug. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to coffee pods on the days I don't want to use my own coffee. Usually days I have to get up at 5:00 a.m.. I had bought Walmart's brand of Breakfast Blend. Can I say gross!?! That coffee tastes burnt and very acidic. So I figured I give these a try since they were on sale and had good reviews. These are definitely a big upgrade from Walmart brand. Delivery not so great! I used a delivery locker for this coffee purchase. When I opened the locker, I could smell the coffee. I didn’t think much of it at the time. When I got home and opened the brown recyclable envelope, I understood why I smelled coffee so strongly. The cardboard container/box of coffee was crushed. One of the pods had been squished enough to open and spill out the coffee grounds all over the envelope. All of the pods were squished a little. Amazon let’s do better please. ... show more

I switch between different brands and roasts every few months, just to keep things interesting. This time around I'm moving from a high quality but low price medium roast to this dark roast. Honestly, I forgot I was drinking dark roast when I had my first cup yesterday. Again, today, I started drinking and initially forgot that I had switched brands and roasts. I had to actually think about what I was expecting in a dark roast to taste the flavors normally associated with a dark roast, so they are there but much more subtle than I was expecting. The coffee is not bad, just a bit weak and not as robust as I was expecting. This will be fine for a generic daily coffee but not special or stand-out in any way. Note that that's not always a bad thing. I've had some dark roasts that completely miss the mark and taste like licking an ash tray. I'll take bland over gross any day. ... show more
