Note, that actual dimensions of the cover are 75"x22" (Length x Width at the bottom). Width at halfway of the length is about 14 1/2". See actual shape of the cover in the provided photo. From my experience using an outdoor cover made of such material it will go comfortably one full season of moderate weather. But most likely it will get torn during second cold season. This is based on the weather typical for Northern Virginia/DC. Also, note that this AmazonBasics cover is manufactured by Classic Accessories - a brand know to specialize in making outdoor covers for furniture etc. I have had claimed successfully warranty product replacement for every cover I bought from them since each of them was torn by the weather in less than 2 years (which was covered by their 3-year warranty). Regarding warranty of this product, there is no single word in neither web page description nor on the product packaging. Hello, Amazon, LLC, would you clarify whether it means no warranty at all or it's a lifetime unconditional warranty? :-/ ... show more

This cover does a great job of protecting my umbrella from the Sun, rain, airborne dirt and bird droppings, so the umbrella will keep looking like new. It closes with a side zipper and has a drawstring on the bottom. The cover’s fabric has some sort of waterproof coating on the outside, so the umbrella on the inside never gets wet. The only negative is that it’s not that easy to put on and remove. (Unless you’re an NBA player!) The top of my umbrella is almost 9-feet high, but the zipper on the cover only goes up 3 feet. The solution is to use a smooth stick or pole that will reach to the umbrella’s top. Put the stick into the unzipped cover, reach up and put it over the umbrella top, then pull the cover down. I live in the Phoenix area where the summer sun is hard on all things. I found myself replacing umbrella covers annually because they'd faded so badly. I think these covers are the solution. The canvas like material the covers are made of should hold up to all kinds of weather for years to come. The tan color isn't likely to show any noticeable fade. I've noticed some reviews talk about difficulty installing the cover over an umbrella and removing it again. Here's the fix. Get yourself a 6 foot plant stake at a local hardware store. When it's time to slip the cover over your umbrella just slide the stake into the cover (zipper completely open) then lift the cover with the stake. It'll slide right over the top of your umbrella and you can slide the stake back out (or leave it) easily. To remove the cover slide the stake back in and lift. Easy! By the way I ordered one just to check it out....Then I ordered two more. Yes, they're that good. ... show more

Fabric seems it will last a long time. But zipper is short. So it doesn't unzip all the way. With the absence of installation rod, short zipper adds inconvenience. I have 7 feet umbrella on top of shade mobile rolling umbrella base. I used small bamboo pole (plant stake) and use it as a wand. Even with the bamboo pole, it is hard to put it on because this thing doesn't unzip far enough. I know it doesn't have wand when I bought it. So I won't minus any star for it. I thought I could use any pole that I have at home as an installation wand. But turned out it is still hard to put in on without having a chair because the the zipper on this thing is really short. ... show more

This review is for three covers - the umbrella, ottoman and coffee table sizes. I've just finished cleaning up the garden after 48 hours of continuous downpour, so these covers have really been put to the test. They pass with flying colours! Not a speck of water underneath any of them, and we had really heavy rain slashing down for hours. I'm about to order a big one for my outdoor loveseat, because the expensive "brand name" cover I bought at a specialty store failed completely. I only hope I can salvage the soaked & stained cushions. These covers are also generously cut. The choice of sizes given meant I had to order ones "just big enough" to fit exactly over my furniture, and hope they weren't skimpy (the fabric does not stretch). In fact there was a good inch extra, which was the wiggle room I needed. Less expensive and far better performance than the fancy name brand ... Fantastic! ... show more

I purchased Amazon Basics Covers last year for my deck couch and four large coushioned chairs. Liked how they fit, liked how they stayed on in Chicagoland winds, liked that they were heavy but not too heavy to take on and off all summer to keep dry and clean when not in use. Decided to order all new covers for the patio wrougth iron lounges and table & chairs. Fit was good. Will update on how well they all last. This umbrella cover should have come with a metal rod in it to make it easier to slip over the top. We sliped one in seam and added a string to easily pull down zipper. ... show more

People only read 1 star reviews, this is a great product but it hard to get the umbrella in and harder to get it out without bringing down the umbrella many people at home have tried andso far we have to remove the umbrella from the table other than that fantastic products, i will come back to review durability after a season outside ... show more

If I could have given this umbrella cover a 4.5 review, I would have. It does its job, blends in nicely outside keeping the umbrella dry and protected, so really 5 stars warranted. Appreciate the zipper on the side. My only thing is really an extra: if this umbrella cover came with a telescoping tool to help get it on and off the outdoor umbrella I would have bought two. However, since it did not - I bought this one and another that included the tool and frankly that telescoping tool saves me a lot of time getting the covers on and off. ... show more
