    • Great Red Light Therapy Machine
I've been using this machine about 3 times a week for the past month and I have noticed changes in myself for the better. My face feels smoother. I used to have to use facial lotion like 1-2's a day, but since using this, I rarely use it now and my skin feels hydrated. My acne is almost cleared up and my facial redness has cleared up tremendously. I originally got this because I started to get a wrinkly/crepey neck and heard this can help. My neck is back to its old self (I also added some copper supplementation, not sure if that or this or a combination) but I am so happy with the results. I noticed I sleep harder/better and I feel better mentally now. I only use the red light feature, but I have tested the other colors and they work.     • Easy and effective
I bought this light system for skin care. I have found it to be a helpful and reliable tool and use it several times a week. I appreciate how you can use the three colors along with the infrared simultaneously, at the same time, hence spending less time but benefitting x3. Shortly after getting the device I had a minor surgery on my foot. I used the light 20 minutes a day, while drinking my morning coffee and watching my morning new, to assure healing. At the one week follow-up appointment, the doctor was amazed at the progress and asked what I had done to have such quick healing. Since using it on my face, my breakouts have ceased.     • After 3-Month Trial Usage, No Lingering Doubts Over Its Effectiveness. Possible Hair Therapy Too!
I am approaching sixty years of age, and I had recently lost eighty pounds of weight on a ketogenic diet. This left me with a lot of wrinkles that were masked by the stretching of skin by my previously high body fat percentage. I went from looking like I was an overweight nearing sixty to looking like I was a skinny seventy. Well, after three months using this device, 2-3 times per week, my face now appears as though I am in my late forties. Over half of my wrinkles have either been eliminated or are greatly diminished. I recently went to a funeral, and met many coworkers from a previous office location, and they did not think I was their age. Nothing was as striking as seeing myself with my peers, and noticing the high contrast between our appearances. I also an starting to experience genetic thinning of hair, and while this product is not classified as a hair regenerative product, I noticed that the light is claimed to penetrate 640nm into the skin, this is right in the middle of the 630-650nm that hair follicles require for stimulation using light therapy. There is a marked reduction in hair loss when taking showers and this thinning appears to have stabilized. While it is too early to see if hair is regrowing, since it often takes upwards of six months to see regrowth, the prevention of hair loss is a major milestone for me. How I use this product: I first take a shower and dry my hair, to make sure there aren't any oils that could interfere with the light absorption. I then place the unit on its side and turn it on. This is to address my scalp. I lay on bed with a small round pillow to elevate my head about 1 inch off the bed, and move close to the unit so it shines light on my scalp and sides of my head. I wear the supplied goggles and cover my ears and face with a towel and allow it to just work on the top of my head for 30 minutes. This is so I don't overexpose my skin to more than 30 minutes of light per day. Then, I move to my face. I position the unit as directed and move my head under the unit for the next 30 minute cycle. I position my chin upwards and move so I get from my forehead to part of my neck. Afterwards, I apply a facial moisturizer with retinol and hyaluronic acid. ... show more

The Lumax Plus Led worked as expected. I liked that it was big enough to go over my hips where I was getting other treatment as well. I am a small woman though. All the colors worked as described.

This is the best red light that I ever have. I had some others brand in the past but nothing like this one is super comfortable and is the fist time that I can notice some changes on my wrinkles. If you're consistent the results that you gonna gets are gonna be amazing. I use it every night before I go to sleep and I don't know exactly what dose on me but helps me sleep all night plus my face is super smooth in the morning. ... show more

    • electronics failed after 5 months
After 5 months of regular use the electronic part failed. I used this about 4-5 times per week for about 20-30 minutes in each sitting, which is what the instructions for use recommend. After about 4-5 months the timer would quit unexpectedly and the whole thing would shut off. Initially it could be reset by unplugging and restarting, but the time to failure would get shorter and shorter. I intend to purchase a different LED light system and would not recommend buying this brand. ... show more
