With the blazing hot summer here is arizona, even a tank and shorts were getting too hot at night. I decided to try linen and this seemed appropriate enough for a house full of boys. I went with a large due to some comments about hip room, and it was definitely a little too big when first tried on. After washing and drying, it shrank to be a much better fit while still leaving room for my hips. The linen/beige color is still a little see through after washing, with dark undergarments on. This dress is exactly what I wanted. It is light and airy - perfect for hot weather. I love that the back is a bit longer - covers if you bend over. The pockets are a must. They don't really shrink much when washed and dried either which is a huge plus. I have a blue one in Medium and just got a green one in Small. I think the Small has a more flattering fit but Medium is nice too - just a bit roomier. The seams on the bust aren't really bust darts per say - just a seam to keep things laying right I think. I immediately rejected it then gave it a wear; I've never experienced such a 180. No, it's not snug and tailored at the waist, but wow with the coolness in the sweltering heat and the comfort. Strap adjustment fixes gaping sideboob. Five-seven, 130ish, VERY broadchested, and the small still fits.

I wish the front and back had been the same length. And I wish there had been a hip measurement. I bought the small as usual and it didn’t fit… bought the medium and it was pretty snug… large is in the way. We shall see how that goes.

This is a very comfy linen piece. Wasn't sure if I would wear it to sleep in or as a dress. The pockets make it more of a dress but I needed a nightshirt. I wear it around the house in the summer and occasionally sleep in it. it is a little slim though the hips which is good for my build but if you are "hippy" maybe go a little bigger.
