This dress is exactly what I wanted. It is light and airy - perfect for hot weather. I love that the back is a bit longer - covers if you bend over. The pockets are a must. They don't really shrink much when washed and dried either which is a huge plus. I have a blue one in Medium and just got a green one in Small. I think the Small has a more flattering fit but Medium is nice too - just a bit roomier. The seams on the bust aren't really bust darts per say - just a seam to keep things laying right I think. I wish the front and back had been the same length. And I wish there had been a hip measurement. I bought the small as usual and it didn’t fit… bought the medium and it was pretty snug… large is in the way. We shall see how that goes.

This is a very comfy linen piece. Wasn't sure if I would wear it to sleep in or as a dress. The pockets make it more of a dress but I needed a nightshirt. I wear it around the house in the summer and occasionally sleep in it. it is a little slim though the hips which is good for my build but if you are "hippy" maybe go a little bigger. I ordered this dress intending to use it as a sleepwear/undergarment. My hourglass-like body with broad shoulders and even wider hips doesn't fit most of the clothes sold in any store at any price. I needed something fast for the hot nights and this dress was looking promising. Unfortunately the seller only provided the bust measurements and, ordering size M (one size up), I wasn't sure if my hips will feel free:). Well, it fits fine. Hips have some room, not too tight, but it is too loose on my shoulders and on the chest (under arms there is too much slack), but that was expected. I honestly was expecting thinner fabric, as it usually happens with Amazon sellers, but the fabric is thick, but still see-through. So, though I planned to use the dress as a sleepwear or as an undergarment for thinner linen dress, I don't think I will uses it as an undergarment because of the thickness of the fabric. There are some sewing mistakes (as it seen of close-up photo), but, as I said, it is ok quality for a sleepwear. ... show more

I've lived in this literally every day working from my home office (aka kitchen table) this long hot summer. After I tested the first one (and altered it a tiny bit to refine the fit), I ordered five more. Nice medium weight linen fabric, adjustable straps, pockets, cute hemline details, I couldn't sew it myself for this price. The white is a bit sheer but sometimes that's a good thing! :) I've worn the black ones out around town and felt cute, cool, covered AND age appropriate (I'm in my 50s) - not an easy feat! Like others mentioned, the fit is boxy, and the darts are kind of weirdly placed, on top instead of on the sides. I wanted a free fit around the hips so I sized up and took in the side seams at the armpits. There was still enough fabric to pull a few gathers at the bottom of the V neck - a simple but flattering alteration. I love this dress! ... show more

I have this in three colors. I wore them all summer. They also look good in the fall with boots, a scarf and a Jean jacket and in the spring with booties and a sweater. Very versatile depending on accessories, dress down or up. It’s worth mentioning that these dresses also travel well. With airlines having such low weight restrictions, II aging all three dresses together weigh less than a pound. They do wrinkle, but I roll them up and place them on the sides of the suitcase. I love these so much. I am 5’9; very busty and ordered an xl in green, blue and black. Could have possibly gone with a large, but wanted it to fit loose.
