  • Extremely capable watch for the price
Color: Superspeed Black
This is my second Amazfit watch, having previously owned the Bip U Pro model. This is a significant upgrade over that model and I am extremely happy with the purchase. Battery Life - 5/5: I have had this for about 10 days now, and a single charge has gotten me through. I am using this thing fairly often throughout the day and interacting with it quite a lot as I get to know its bells and whistles. The battery is very strong! Screen - 5/5: The screen is also quite bright on this watch. I have had no problems getting a clear read from it, even in bright and direct sunlight. It also gets quite dark at night, and the adaptive brightness is fairly responsive. Tracking - 4/5: So far, it seems to track activity, heart rate, and sleep reasonably well, but its not without hiccups. For example, it gave me a sleep score of 94/100 last night, and I can say I did not sleep very well in reality. I can't say that others are inherently better, but it is a drawback. The heart rate tracking can be sporadic, but I also tend not to wear it super tightly so that is naturally going to reduce the accuracy. Workouts do track fairly well when I use it, and the GPS works nicely for tracking runs. Comfort - 4/5: So far, the comfort has been reasonably good. Again, I can't say I have owned an apple watch or other competitor to use as a reference point, but the band has been pretty comfortable and I have not gotten any rash or anything that can be common with these sport bands. I will say wearing it a bit looser does prevent moisture from becoming trapped, so that likely has helped. Aesthetics - 4/5: Overall its a nice looking watch. I don't love the red dial, but otherwise it looks nice! As a 6'4 male, the size is an advantage, but for smaller frames I could see it being too large. Customizability and App Companion - 4/5: The Zepp app largely works quite well, but it can be a bit confusing to navigate. I have not had a great chance to use the coaching, so cannot comment on that just yet. The watch faces available aren't bad, but I will say they aren't all the prettiest. Some are quite a lot nicer, but others look like a 12 year old could have designed it. But that said, there are plenty of options that run the spectrum, so you shouldn't ever feel limited by that. Overall - 5/5: The price is great, the functionality is really good, battery life is impressive. There may be some marginal drawbacks, but this is a GREAT smartwatch at a great price. ... show more

  • GREAT battery life, great cycling tracker
Color: Superspeed Black
I'm amazed by the battery life. Before I started using GPS for my bike rides, I got 10+ days on a charge, even with always-on display from 8am-11pm! With some GPS usage, it's about half that, but still amazing considering the amount of use I get. Display is fantastic, I can even read the bigger numbers with sunglasses on in the direct Florida sun. Auto-pause feature is a particular favorite during a workout, and announcing (verbally) the results of a workout at the end is a nice feature as well. Time will tell how longevity plays out, but so far, it feels, looks, and works great! ... show more

  • Great fitness watch
Color: Superspeed Black
If you're looking for a great-looking, nice-feeling watch for tracking your workouts, this is a great choice. The screen is large, bright, and beautiful. The body has a sturdy feel and looks classy. There are some beautiful standard watch faces. And the battery life is incredible. I disabled always-on display, but had tilt to wake and other battery-draining features enabled (e.g. automatic sleep and workout tracking), and it still only dropped from 100% to 19% after 10 days. Heart rate tracking seemed fairly accurate compared to other trackers such as the Google Pixel watch. Sleep tracking did a good job of detecting start/end of sleep sessions, but didn't seem as accurate as Fitbit sleep tracking with regard to sleep stages (not as sensitive). I loved the fitness tracking software on the watch and app. For treadmill running, it seemed to "learn" the more I used it. The first time, its estimate of distance was a fair bit off but easily allowed me to change it. The second time, it was closer. The third time, it was spot on. Not sure if it has some AI algorithm for detecting/learning stride lengths, but that seemed pretty cool. Also, for tracking strength training sessions, it allows you to easily track sets/reps/weights and does a pretty good job of detecing what exercises you're doing (bent over row, deadlifts, bicep curls, etc.). For those it can't detect or gets wrong, you can easily change/select it in the phone app afterward. Where the watch fell short was in the tight integration with my Android phone. Most apps seemed to require a companion app on the phone to operate, and there just didn't seem to be many apps available. In the end, I went with the Google Pixel watch, but the GTR 4 was a great competitor and would be an excellent choice if only concerned with fitness tracking. ... show more

  • Nice watch for price.
Color: Superspeed Black
I actually really liked this, but bought it before I knew that OnePlus made a watch. But for the price this thing was extremely nice. Good size for big wrists. Comfort out the box is very hight. Screen was nice. Battery life was good too, days without charging. Factory apps were what you needed them to be. Accuracy as far as steps seemed good. No complaints here just wanted to stick to OnePlus. ... show more
