  • Do they just not care?
Size: 10 Inch Dia
Is this stuff not important to them? I thought these were supposed to be the "good" "expensive" blades . . . . . Well don't bother. This is the second Amana blade I've bought from ToolsToday, and the second I'll be returning. Does Amana not have some type of quality control? I measured each carbide tip individually with a pair of Mitutoyo Digimatic calipers and found the tips to range from 0.121-0.123" This matters to me. Does it matter to Amana? Besides the super tight box joints I created with this blade, it really doeskin rip that well either. ... show more

  • A great unitasker
Size: 10" Dia x 20T', 18 De
For years I used a Forrest combination blade for most everything on my table saw. As my business has grown I've realized that when milling hardwood stock from boards in the rough, a ripping blade like this really does make a huge difference (and it saves your expensive combination blade for other tasks at which it excels). It doesn't leave a particularly smooth surface, so jointing or heavy sanding of the cut edge will be required. But, there is almost never any burning and the effort to push your board through is about half that required by a combination blade. The kerf is a bit thinner so you need to account for that if you use this when dimensioning. I've been using this blade (with a stabilizer) for more than a year and it's still going strong - very happy with it. ... show more

  • Clean rip cuts, no burns
Size: 10" Dia x 20T', 18 De
Does what you expect it to do... nice clean rip cuts, no burns. I had a project with very hard hickory, cutting very thick pieces, and this blade made my job much easier.

  • Smooth rips
Size: 10" Dia x 20T', 18 De
I use this 20 tooth blade for ripping on my table saw, and will swap to a 60 tooth for cross cuts. I like the finish the cut produces. Hit it with a block plane to clean up some of the saw marks. I'm happy with my Amana blades.

  • fantastic blade
Size: 10 Inch Dia
Even with a 3 hp saw stop i had problems with other blades ripping hardwood. 20 tooth seems right for thick hardwood rips. highly recommend.
