Features

  • Half inch hardware cloth, ideal for snake fence, chicken wire, opossum rehab cages, chicken coops run, rabbit fencing, flower beds, wide gutters guard, fruit trees, vegetable garden, to keep out small critters such as voles, gophors, racoons, etc.
  • The holes are only 1/2 inch to keep critters out and the chickens / rabbit safe, protect your garden fruits and vegetables from rodent animals. The 1/2 inch openings would have to be really small to get through. In the area of Wisconsion, Colorado, Cal kings, small baby copperhead snakes and rattle snakes come for damage seasonally. Dig a shallow trench before installing to ensure the fence is partially underground for peace of mind.
  • It's galvanized and VERY rust proof. Double zinc coated hardware cloth for maximum rust resistance and long life. Wider weave not too stiff, the material will confirm to rolled shape as tree guards for fruit trees, 19 gauge easy to lay down and easy to cut with wire cutter/scissors. Keep gophers out of vegetable garden.
  • Use this to protect vegetables and flower roots, bulbs, rhizomes, etc from tunneling animals. It can be used to make individual baskets or line raised garden beds.
  • Use this material to line the bottom of your chain link fence and cut it in half by leaving it in a roll with a hack saw; it is plenty stiff for what you want to use it for. This mesh solved issues with snakes, gophor, skunk, chipmunks, rabbits and other creature pests living under your wooden deck.

  • Keeps my blueberries safe!
Size Name: 1/2inch 48inx100ft
Several rolls of this netting is now keeping our blueberries safe from winged and four-legged marauders. Installed in 2023, not one berry lost this 2024 season! I feared that the mesh might be too small for pollinating insects to pass through, but seeing how many blueberries we have [already harvested] and will continue to harvest this season - show that my fear was unsubstantiated. Squirrels and birds used to chew through plastic netting, which was allegedly squirrel- and bird-safe (guess they didn't read the directions on that netting...) Not any more - no bird beaks nor squirrel teeth have cut through this (didn't really expect them to). It will cost more than plastic - but you do it once and it will last. Less overall work and -importantly- less frustration, no more chasing and capturing "burglars" in the cage. Only thing it will not stop is black bears... Quality: No sign of rust anywhere, the galvanization is solid. I expect this to last many years in our New England climate... ... show more

  • Quality product and good price
Size Name: 1/4inch 36inx50ft
Gave it a rating of 5 because it met my expectations fully. It was definitely what I wanted. Heavy duty required more attention to placement before stapling. The size of the openings are perfect for what animals I expect to want to get in. Cut easily with a pair of "tin snips". Thank you.

  • Perfect Solution to Protect My Baby Fig Tree
Size Name: 1/2inch 20inx82ft
I purchased this hardware cloth to protect my baby fig tree from my dog, who would run outside and relieve himself on it every single time. This product provided the perfect solution! I used the hardware cloth to build a sturdy fence around the fig tree, and now my dog relieves himself on the fence instead (silly dog!). The hardware cloth is high-quality, easy to work with, and has held up well against the elements. Overall, this product has been fantastic for protecting my fig tree, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing a practical and durable fencing solution. ... show more

  • Bought for our coop
Size Name: 1/2inch 36inx100ft
We bought this for our chicken coop because the price was so much cheaper here than home depot or lowes. It looks great on the coop and has been durable so far. It pretty heavy to install and would definitely recommend someone helping.

  • Decent garden fencing
Size Name: 1/2inch 36inx100ft
I have used plastic fencing for our garden in the past and it only lasted one season. I wanted something that could be reused. I looked at many different foot jobs and settled with this one. I like that it’s sturdy and seems well made. What I don’t like is that the top of the fence is sharp. I have cut myself and ripped a few shirts on it. I’d give it five stars if somehow they got rid of the sharp wires along the top somehow. But overall it seems decent and I hope lasts me many years. ... show more

  • 1/4 inch is a must to keep Chipmunks and Mice/Moles out of Garden enclosures
Size Name: 1/4inch 36inx50ft
So found out the hard way that chicken wire or any galvanized hardware cloth larger than 1/4 inch will not keep out Chipmunks, Mice or Moles from our Garden enclosures. They scoot right through. You have to use the small 1/4 inch galvanized hardware cloth. It really does the trick. For chipmunks you need to line the bottom of the enclosure with the same galvanized cloth or they will burrow underneath, same with the moles. If you create an entirely enclosed garden like a simple taller hoop house, you will be amazed at what you can grow when the raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, deer etc cant get at the veggies. It is a whole new world in successful gardening. Designed my own hoop house and couldn't be more pleased. The Amagabeli 1/4 inch hardware cloth has held up beautifully for 7 years. This year we got 19 inches of heavy wet snow on our hoop house and our center beam sagged. We thought, oh dear, we are going to have to replace all of it. NOPE! Turns out that the wonderful hardware cloth held its own, and when we shored up the beam, it all sort of popped back into place. We had about an hours worth of smoothing a few snow dents in the hardware cloth and that's it. Just bought another roll for some new garden projects. One other thing, if deer and rabbits are decimating your young fruit trees, you can drive in solid wood/metal stakes around the trees, and attach hardware cloth to the stakes and the trees are well protected. We finally have a maturing Fuji and a young Honeycrisp apple tree using this method. Just make sure the stakes are in good and deep enough like a foot or so, and use 2 sections of the 4ft tall hardware cloth attached together ( we use galvanized wire to join them together) so that you get a circular enclosure that is about 8 feet tall. If you have really spunky deer and want to add another layer of protection, you can put fox or coyote urine granules in a baggie and attach it to the outside of the enclosure. Just poke a few little hole in the baggies. It also helps keep the raccoons at bay during harvest. Happy gardening! ... show more
