I received my order today and thankfully in an Amazon box, so not advertising to everyone what it was! And, call me crazy, but I wanted to see just how absorbent the #7 is! So, I put a pad in my underwear and when I need to go potty, I sat on the toilet in my underwear and let it go. Before I was done going a little bit leaked out one of the sides. I sat there for a minute to allow the gel to absorb as much as possible. When I got up, I was able to pull the pad out of my underwear to throw it in the trash without any leaking. And my underwear were just a little wet in one spot (about a 2" diameter spot) where it leaked during the onslaught. So, if I were out in public and had to go, I don't think that the amount that leaked out would have been enough to actually run down my leg. But I'm not sure. It would be nice to have the sides of the pad somehow block leakage (because as most woman know once the flow starts there's no stopping it), but then again, reinforcing the edges might take away from the comfort aspect of the pad. ?? I have been using these pads for over a year now, and they haven’t failed me yet! I tried at least a half a dozen other products, but these Always Discreet beat them ALL out!! They do exactly what they claim they can do!!

I purchased these because they are not as bulky as Poise. For traveling the size and thickness are good. For everyday use I prefer Poise, long-length, #6. Mentioning this in case you need more leakage protection.

I have suffered with an overactive bladder all my life; the sudden, uncontrollable urges to go, the humiliation and mortification of having mini, or worse, bladder-emptying accidents well after preschool age, left me repeatedly vulnerable to ridicule from other kids, and later on, just demoralized.. The chronic anxiety and dread that unsupported incontinence causes has definitely impacted my self esteem. Before this product existed I just endured it; it never occurred to me to use something. Since I liked and used Always menstrual products I tried these. Just as comfortable and they prevented my clothes from getting wet from sudden urges! I figured out which size/ number completely protected my clothes and have ordered them from Amazon ever since. My last two shipments came in what I assume is their original packaging, which advertises the product; I was shocked and furious about this since it broadcasts my incontinence to anyone who can read. I have never gotten an Amazon purchase this way, so it was very upsetting. I called customer service and complained, so hopefully, the issue is resolved… These liners are just wonderful- I use them everyday and keep a couple extra in my bag at all times.
