This grass is exactly as stated. Good heavy duty backing and it looks like real grass. It’s also soft. My pets love laying in it. If you pull it tight when installing, it stays tight. It was easy to cut around the concrete with a sharp razor knife. This has been installed for about two weeks and has held up to big winds and lots of rain. The drain holes work great. I bought this for my sectioned off dog area for them to go poo and pee. My little dog doesn't like her feet getting wet and will hold it if the ground is wet. Now, she will go on this turf regardless, which was my plan all along. :). It's easier to find the poop to pick up because the grass is so green and the rain washes it naturally. I can use the blower to get the leaves off. Easy peezy. If you need it for your dogs, I would say it's worth it. I can't stand brown dead grass spots all over my yard so now, they have their own grass! I paid $90 for 5x10. ... show more

I put this in myself. After preparing the ground, it laid nicely and looks great. After a few hours in the sun the gras blades will perk up more. I don't think this would work in a high traffic area but a small project, it will get the job done.

Shipped fast, in a tight folded bundle, so it did have lots of creases. We prepped the ground as suggested and then laid it out unfolded overnight. Once heated by the sun the following day, we began stretching and smoothing it out. It turned out better than expected for a great price.

I ordered a 4’X10’ piece to cover the balcony at my apartment near Buffalo, NY. It arrived on time and a few days before we had a snow/ice storm. I unrolled and unfolded it and laid it out on my balcony as soon as it arrived, pushing down on the fold line and pulling the edge out to make it as flat as possible, expecting it to be visible until late spring. When it started snowing, I thought it would be a good test of the product. I was amazed how easy it was to clear the ice/snow off it. I stepped on it, breaking the ice layer and swept it off the balcony with the side of my foot, I noticed the icy hunks did not have any “blades of grass” stuck in them. The fold line is barely noticeable now. Bonus, I could step out on my balcony right away while my neighbors had an inch of ice on theirs. I am so happy with this purchase. ... show more

This was a great alternative to grass living in the southwest with our water shortage. The grass is soft the touch, very durable and doesn't get too hot in the heat. I went out when it was over 100 degrees and put my whole hand on it and it did not burn, i mean it was hot but not to the point it would burn me. My dogs really love to play and just relax on it. I bought 3 at first but plan to cover most of my back with it. It was so easy to install too! ... show more
