This is one of the most serious trailer locks I have ever heard about. Bought mine and it was very east to install. Only way I think someone is going to steal my trailer now is by cutting the whole hitch assembly off or spending one heck of a lot of time trying to remove the lock which is such a deterrent to 99% of thieves that they would just move on to an easier target. ... show more

Unlike the many trailer locks in the market that can easily be picked, smashed, or have the key broken off, this lock has real heft and won't easily be compromised. Unless you're bringing an acetylene torch move on to another trailer.

I was very careful to follow the guidance for ordering the correct size for my coupler. Still, it did not fit. Could not engage the lock. Sent it back. Too bad as it looks to be a quality built and substantial lock. Return process was easy.
