I use these reeds mainly to practice and beat them up as to not waste my high end reeds. At first glance they appear fine but when you take a closer look you can see that some have slight warps while others are nicked and chipped around the curved edges. While this is not a deal breaker for me as I am fine with adjusting on the fly, new or younger players may feel discouraged as their sound can and will be affected. Maybe I just got a bad batch. I will say that for what they cost, these 2.5 reeds do play quite well on a Yamaha 4c mouthpiece for my alto sax. Overall these reeds get the job done at an affordable priced. This is a great buy for a beginner saxophone player. We expected to go through a lot of reeds as our kiddo is learning their new instrument, and this product is a perfect solution.

These reeds are cheap, thin, and chip easily. The first one broke immediately when I tried to put it in the mouth piece. They are squeaky and don’t sound at all correct. Would not recommend purchasing these reeds.
