  • Sobresaliente
Size: 44 L Color: Mossy Oak Country Dna
Tamaño ideal, muchos compartimientos para tener todo ordenado. Excente calidad de los materiales y terminación ( la mejor por lejos) totalmente ajustable. Tiradores y apoyo de espalda bien acolchados y con respiradores. Superó mis expectativas.

  • Great organizational compartments! Rugged - Looks cool!
Size: 44 L Color: Stricken Outdoors X Josh Hader Edition, ...
I've only used it once, but I am very happy with it so far. I'll update my review, if things go awry. I love the flip down compartment tray, where I can lay my binoculars, range finder, game calls, and any other small gear that I have so I can access it quickly and without the risk of it falling off. I bought this as a replacement for a competitor's backpack that I got as a birthday gift, and I'm glad I made the upgrade. Truth be told, this one was on sale at a great price, so I upgraded and saved money in the process. Gotta love that!! I definitely recommend this backpack. I'm primarily a deer hunter in PA, but I think it would hold up to some more challenging hunts if need be. Oh, I also discovered the rain cover, which is tucked underneath in a top secret zippered pouch. The woman at Sherper's Inc. coached me through the process of finding the secret pocket. ... show more

  • I think I finally found my last mid size hunting pack!
Size: 44 L Color: Realtree Edge
I think I may have finally found my last hunting pack. Unfortunately I haven't used it in the field yet but just looking at it and loading my gear, it seems great. Smaller storage pocket has several internal smaller elastic mesh pockets to individually store your small items like knives, gloves, beanies and other stuff. The outside mesh pockets on the corners are large and fit a range finder very easy. The straps holding the outside pocket which folds down like a small table are strong and should hold well. The waist strap has a good size pocket on each side and is removable if not needed. I already fitted my rifle and bow in the sling and they both strap down tight and secure. The hydration pocket for a bladder is great. It will fit my 3 liter bag no problem and there is a nice plastic clip on the right shoulder strap to clip in the drink tube. There are also 2 clips to hold the water bladder at the top so the bag won't fall to the bottom of the pocket. Large storage pocket will fit plenty of gear and clothing. I think I could fit enough in there for a 3 day hunt. Rain cover and bow/rifle sling store away very neat and will stay out of the way if not needed. Zippers are very strong and pull tabs are held open with ribber coating for easy access with gloves. The pictures show a bow quiver attached to the side. Quiver is NOT included but shows how they easily attach to the side. Retail price from Alps OutdoorZ web site is $129.00 so Amazon's price is a great deal. I got mine a bit cheaper but I think Amazon made a pricing mistake so I won't tell you what I paid. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this pack. This is the 3rd hunting specific backpack I've bought in the last 3 years. I also have a Badlands Source pack and GamePlan Gear Over-N-Under 3-in-1 Pack System. Both are really nice in their respective ways but I think the Alps Pursuit pack has finally given me everything I need. Hope this helps and happy hunting! UPDATE 7/8/19: I've been using the pack in the field for turkey and deer hunting the past 2 years and it has lived up to everything I hoped it would be. Strap system works well for carrying either a rifle or bow and I have strapped both to the back. Will hold large size water bladder and all the gear you need for a full day or 2 trip. I have no complaints at all about this pack and nothing on this pack has failed to include zippers and stitching. You won't be disappointed with this pack. ... show more

  • Fat Guy With a Little Pack!
Size: 44 L Color: Mossy Oak Country
Here is my AAR for this pack: This pack seems to do well, but keep in mind it is an entry level pack. I used it on the tail end of my October deer hunt and it seemed to hold up okay. It didn't fit my Ruger american 30-06 very well as far as holding it to my back. The butt pocket sat way too low to allow my scope to be comfortably retained by the straps. Also my rifle flopped around quite a bit from the hike out of the mountains. The other thing is that the waist belt pocket was in the way of my rifle while i was shoulder carrying it. I have a few other beefs with it, but overall its a decent pack for the price. I've also used it during the fall steel-head run here in Idaho and it held all of my gear quite nicely, I was even able to use one of the quiver straps to hold my hatchet in place (2 degrees Fahrenheit in the mornings). I've got a December archery hunt coming up, so we'll see how it holds up. I haven't tested it with my bow to see if it fits yet, but I have a 40 year old Jennings t-star. Pros: - Roomy main pocket - Can accompany any size water bladder - Is fairly well padded for heavier loads - Quiver straps are multi-use - Zippers seem to be holding up - Waist belt Is well padded - Chest strap is adjustable up and down Cons: - Has no elastic retaining straps except for the shoulder straps and waist belt (which i felt was a cheap out) - My rainfly wasn't stitched very well and came apart upon first use. - Buttstock pocket hangs too low without enough adjust ability up for scopes that sit farther back on the rifle. - Waist belt rides a little high for me. Im 6'1'' (73"), 240lbs and the back support beam doesn't quite fit the length of my back. - D ring is plastic, and I feel that it could have been metal for hanging purposes (I carry a lot of gear for Idaho weather) - Not enough elastic retention straps - Front pocket interior pockets left a little to be desired as far as accessibility For the price its not a bad day bag. I keep a lot of gear with me because of the climate and remoteness of the area that I live in. (No cell service, and I am usually alone in the mountains) This pack has worked pretty well for me, and a lot of the issues that I have with it I can fix myself for little to no cost to me. (helps to know how to sew) I will post photos later to show these deficiencies. 4/5 would recommend to a friend shorter than myself. ... show more

  • Really good for the money
Size: 44 L Color: Mossy Oak Country Dna
I'm using this backpack for 2 months now for hunting. It's a little bit on the heavy side, but I really like the look and the versatility of this pack. Mostly I'm stalk hunting small game, putting the squirrels and rabbits in a plastic bag in the main compartment, still have space for the 2L water bladder and plenty of things. In the smaller compartment I can organize my license, tools, knives, gloves, sharpeners, etc. In the left waist belt pocket I have my caller, in the right the extra ammo. On tree stand deer hunting I use the "shelf" a lot. I really like this backpack, recommending for everyone! ... show more
