Having problems with my CT100u stock engine sliding backwards and slacking the chain. Damn thing was throwing the chain ALL the time. This plate has much more stiffness than the stock 3.5 HP engine mounts had, locking it firmly in place and curing THAT problem. Also, its future proof, too, the new 212cc I’m building for the minibike lines up PERFECTLY, and unlike drilling new holes in the bike frame, it’ll slide over to allow a CVT/Torque converter to be added, also sliding fore and aft for chain tensioning before that, as the 100u doesn’t have rear slack adjusters. 10/10. After an engine mod the stock location wasn't optimal. This bracket allows you to place the engine exactly where it needs to be. You do have to drill 4 holes in your mini bike mounting plate to secure this bracket. After that you can move the engine front to back, left to right. I now have the chain lined up perfectly with the sprocket. Performance is now optimal and it's a difference you can feel. A must have!! It isn't tall enough on it's own to provide clearance for a tork converter so you'll have to buy or fabricate a 1 inch engine riser. ... show more

It shows in the pictures, and is stated in the description that it works to put a 213 on a Coleman ct100u. No it does not. The side slots line up perfectly with the predator 212. But so do the mounting holes on the bike. You can't put bolts both ways through the same shouldered slots. Now I either return it, or drill holes in the mounting plate on the bike. ... show more

I use this plate on quite a few of the mini bike builds on the channel for maximum adaptability when doing engine swaps for proper chain alignment. It is easier than drilling the mounting plate. YouTube BLACK66

This plate matches to the holes of a Predator 212cc. I also matched it to a motor riser plate mount that I got for a 196cc / 212cc engine. The attached pictures show it against both the 212cc engine and riser plate.
