We recently purchased these chairs and during the assembly process one of the lower cross bars was missing the welded in part to receive the screw. Personally I thought, oh great I'm going to have to return the whole thing. However, that wasn't the case. The company had an email and says to contact them with any issues, which I did. The next morning I got a reply email asking to clarify the part and send a pic. Now, with the holidays I was a little lazy with my reply and it took more than a few days to reply. Once, I did they replied and said the would be sending the part. A few days later the part showed up. The chair looks great and is very sturdy. The quality of the chair is great in my opinion. Its sturdy for big people and we really like the way it looks in our house. In fact, we recently purchased 2 more chairs and those had no issues. Its easy to assemble by one person, The reason I wanted to write the review was to describe how easy my process was with dealing with the companies customer service. It took 20 minutes to assemble each chair. One of screws needed toggling a bit while inserting. Once that was fixed... VIOLA! Unbelievably comfortable and sturdy. I purchased the light grey (2). An inexpensive find that looks and feels like far more than what was spent. I use one of them for my hosting during my video conferencing. They perfectly accommodate my workstation which is perhaps 30 inches in height, also. I am immensely pleased with them. ... show more

These stools are pretty nice for the cost! When we first got them, there were all these little black beads within the legs (metal pieces?) so that was annoying because they got all over the floor. However the company helped us out because of the inconvenience. After using for a while the one chair back fabric started to detach from the solid piece, and so we requested replacement. They sent us two new stools because apparently they can't just replace singular parts. We didn't really need two new stools but it was nice that they accomodated us and stood by their product. EDIT: Have had these for a few months now and they wipe up wonderfully, despite the suede-like fabric. I’ve even gotten grease out just with water and a cloth. Definitely worth it! These are great bar stools for the cost. They are comfortable, really structurally sound (assembly was easy) and look more expensive than they are. We have small kids and so I like to have things that look nice, but are inexpensive/easy to clean. I took a gamble since I thought these would be more of a slick pleather, since the description says you just wipe them down to clean. However, they’re more of a soft suede style. So, they’d definitely get stained or hold grease spots easily. However, I’ll ScotchGuard them and hope for the best! The only other critique I would have is that one has some ripples in the fabric from how it was sewn and the other is completely smooth. I wish they were both uniform that way, but it’s not a significant issue. ... show more

This is the first time I have received a defective item from Amazon, so I’m not too stressed, just hoping they replace this with a good one. When I receive the replacement, I’ll update my review, but for now, this is terrible. As I opened the package to begin assembling, I noticed the legs were bent and uneven. Completely unable to assemble. The screws won’t even align and I could not figure out how to make it work. I Just put them back in the box to return. Absolutely love these barstools! They’re so pretty and we’re sooo easy to assemble. The cushion provides a lot of comfort as well. Barstools are rather sturdy as I have stood on them to hang things up on the wall. I would just recommend keeping the provided tools in case some of the screws loosen over time.
