After years of being a sports mom sitting at numerous football games and track meets, I finally decided to get this chair with the built in shade. My kids are grown and no longer doing sports but I used this for the first time last month at an outdoor concert and the sun was beaming! I was so grateful for the shade. The chair is also comfortable and sturdy. I appreciate the large cup holder on one side cause my water bottle is 3" diameter which won't fit most holders but it did here. The only drawback is the weight while carrying on my shoulder. If you don't have far to go it's no problem but if you have a good distance you may wanna consider putting it in a wagon. Unless of course you have a strong ex-football player son like me who saw me at the concert and carried it back to my car! Overall it's an excellent chair. I highly recommend it ... show more

This chair was better than expected. I live in the south and chair steel legs tend to stick making it hard to close. This chair is awesome, the legs have a protective coating and is very easy to close. The sun canopy was easy to put up or down. I bought two for my for my 4 and 6 year old at the time which was about 3 years ago. They love these chairs. They can get on it with no issues. The canopy is great I sometimes place a towel over it to dry and also use it to block the sun from the sides or the back at times pin it with a clothing pin. It has good coverage but I prefer more coverage. I wish my chair had a canopy. What I like these are lightweight compared to the chairs me and my husband use. The canopy is very useful and needed to keep that sun off my little ones heads and eyes. Depending on the height of the children the canopy won’t cover much if they are too young or too short. I’m 5’4, spouse is 5’6 the canopy sits just right for us. I’m 280 and spouse is 220 we have sat on these while kids are playing with sand so we can duck from the sun so far they held our bodies well. My problem is now getting up out of the chair I need a bit of assistance it’s like the chair fabric is a bit dipped down when your bum is on it sort of like when u lay in a hammock. I like the height of the chair frame wish the fabric seat part was more firm. Due to this my feet do dangle and legs have fallen asleep. I have to push my body more forward. With strong winds the chair does tip over it has rolled around on the sand at beach and at the park. The bag it comes in has survived it’s still doing well. Chairs are easy to close and open. Cup holders are good for cans and bottles. Kids love the chair and me and my spouse like the chair the canopy is the best part chair is comfortable just don’t like the legs swinging back and fourth thing. I feel shorter than I am when I sit on chairs like that. ... show more

I really like this chair It’s sturdy and stable as well as easy to set up. However this chair is not easy to fold up 3 men and 3 women could not get it to fold down We finally just threw it in the back of the car not folded
