This is a good bed frame. Very solid, minimalistic, not bulky and pretty stylish. The included instructions however appear to have been written by a very elderly person with dementia or perhaps a third grader with a science experiment. Some numbers do not match up with their corresponding pieces, some parts/sections simply were omitted entirely maybe to save paper or something. If you have at least a third of a brain however you are in luck as it should be no problem to figure out what goes where. Took about an hour to fully assemble. 9.5/10 Would buy again ... show more

So glad I trusted the positive reviews and ignored the negative reviews, which are mostly subjective complaints (the bed not being high enough: your mistake, not the seller’s; the directions being written by someone with dementia: false and, frankly, outright rude; or the slats being soft Chinese metal and therefore, not sturdy: bizarre and, again, frankly rude). But alas — I’ll review the product and not the reviews. I bought this bed for my bedroom, and chose the queen size. I appreciated the metal and wood look, since I was attempting an industrial look in my room. I needed a platform bed for my hybrid mattress, and I didn’t want anything that would squeak when I move. After a LOT of research, I settled on this bed. For mid-$100’s, seemed a good price. It shipped immediately, and arrived one week sooner than expected. Assembly took about one hour, and I completed it myself alone. All tools needed are included. The directions did have 5 pages, but only 9 steps. Very straightforward and easy to follow. I had one piece upside down but I noticed that at the very end and fixed it. The metal platform slats have rubber around the insert holes, and then a rubber plug to keep the slats from banging when you shift on the bed. A very nice touch. The bed doesn’t squeak and fits my queen mattress perfectly. Has about a foot of clearance underneath so I’m able to still use that for storage. Easy to move assembled and will be easy to disassemble when moving. And…it looks great. Love the simple, elegant vibe this gives off. Would buy again. ... show more

TLDR: - Fairly easy to assemble, took me 1.5 hours - Arrived with all pieces and nothing broken - Seems very sturdy so far - Actually is no noise, no creaking at all All pieces were present and accounted for. Took me an hour and a half to assemble, including unboxing/unwrapping everything, but I have joint issues so someone with better dexterity might only need an hour. Looks great, exactly as pictured, and is very sturdy. The “no noise” thing is actually accurate too - after our last bed frame that creaked if you took a deep breath, it’s kind of eerie. This is not a great photo but we love this bed. I was able to put it together mostly by myself with a little help from my 11 year old. It’s Not terribly complicated to assemble though you do need to read the instruction thoroughly and make sure you use the correct screws in the correct spots. I had a little trouble figuring out which direction to turn a couple of the frame pieces but since I followed the instruction and had not tightened the screws I was easily able to reverse the rods and make any corrections or adjustments needed. In the end I was so impressed with the quality, durability and price of the item I bought a second frame for my other bedroom. ... show more

The instructions are lousy but if your have put as much furniture together as I have it’s not hard but I would say look at how it logically goes together and Bobs’ your uncle. I just spent my first night on this bed and loved it. Putting it together was long but overall pretty easy. Comes with spare parts and the Allen wrench needed. It’s a very sturdy frame and doesn’t make any noise when moving around. When assembling and you get to the final step of putting the slats in, move slow. Rushing will cause a headache. Make sure both sides are in before locking them on the notch. It also helps to pull the bar in while pushing the rubber tab in to secure it. It makes more sense when you see it lol also a hammer can help tap in the more difficult tabs on this step. ... show more

We purchased this for our son’s apartment. It took maybe an hour to assemble, and we’re not very handy people! The main concern I had with this being a metal bed, was that it would be extremely difficult if the holes were misaligned. Thankfully, it did not happen. It was very simple, straightforward. Clean lines, attractive. Does it look like a $2000 bed? No. But it looks very, very good, period- not just “good for what I paid”. Also, we put a 1/4 inch sheet of plywood on top of the slats- we weren’t sure if putting a memory foam mattress on top if metal slats was a great idea. ... show more
