This bed really came together, we upgraded to a king mattress and needed a new frame. We previously had a basic universal frame and have always wanted a nicer looking frame with a headboard. This one was a great price and instructions were easy to follow. We were concerned at first because we were missing piece G1 and received a second G in its place but it wasn’t a big deal after all and were able to use the G where the G1 was supposed to go. Putting it together the sides looked bowed out but when you get to the last steps it straightens out. This bed looks great. Set up wasn't too bad and didn't take too long. The only complaint is the headboard is not very secure and wobbles. We plan on putting some type of re-enforcement to support it.

For the price, I'm really pleasantly surprised at the quality and look of the headboard. I read A LOT of reviews and they're not wrong when they say it looks really amazing and is very easy to put together. As a 5'6" woman, I still found it easy to handle. The instructions were far more organized than anything I've ever gotten from IKEA! I think it took me all of 30 minutes. I have a 10 inch mattress and there's a tiny gap between the top of the mattress and bottom of the headboard. But with pillows on I don't even notice it at all, even while sleeping. It's also super solid. No wobbling and no noises. The feet have smooth plastic on the bottom and don't seem like they would harm the floor. You might want something under the feet to disperse weight if you have a special carpet or rug. I love mine! ... show more

The design of these platform frames seems to be universal across all brands. I have assembled 6 different brands and they are almost identical. However, the "almost" part is huge. That small variation is metal and it makes all the difference. The legs on this thing will NOT snap when moving the bed fully assembled with a mattress. The legs on most other brands certainly will snap and have snapped on me. This brand is by-far the most sturdy. Assembly takes around 35 minutes solo and 15-17 minutes for a couple.
