I ordered a few different shoes for my upcoming trip to South America. I returned all of them except the Allbirds! These sneakers are so very comfortable and lightweight. I thought I would have to break them in so I used them for a 5-mile walk a few days ago and LOVE them! First, they are so lightweight, it feels like you don't have anything on your feet. Even after that long trek, there were no blisters or pain on my bunions. Realistically, you do not have to break them in because the cloth covering is nice and soft. Shoes run small. I usually wear 9 in tennis shoes. Had to take a 10. Fit really well and comfortable. Look good with casual outfits. A little pricey but worth it.

Like the wool inserts. Moisture wicking. I don’t have to wear socks. Love that you can pull the insert out and wash the shoes and inserts and put them back together once dry. These are easily the most comfortable shoes I own. The knit top is very forgiving and does not bind in any way. Wanted lightweight sneakers for warmer weather, but these didn't work. Very thin, you can see outline of your toes and the fit was way off.

Ok. So I ordered a 9 in biege and they were about the right length. Here you see them compared to a size 9.5 Asics (black). I could have ordered 8.5 for the length. They were nice and light and comfy. Except there is no room for your big toe. It is pushed down. So even though the shoes were plenty long, they put pressure on the big toe. There is not enough verticle room in the toe area. They had a nice wide toe box and seemed well made. I had to return them due to the big toe issue. ... show more
