I like how comfortable these shoes are. It doesn't feel as durable. The dark blue color looks so nice with everything you wear. I am still testing out the waterproof aspect. I will update as I wear these more.

    • Comfortable, Light, Might Wear Out Fast
These are a comfortable and light weight show. The black-on-black look is something I liked, but my wife really does not like the look of these, feeling that they are not very stylish. The Allbrids brand does have some "fame" around them. The overall build quality of the shoe is high. All seams and construction are perfect. The merino wool outer is super soft and comfortable. Like other reviewers have said, the downside to the wool is that it picks up and shows things like hair, dust, etc. They say that these are machine washable, but I have not yet tried that feature, but like that these can be readily cleaned. Love that these are more sustainable and made with natural materials. I am worried about how long these will hold up to the normal wear and tear of show life. I can be a bit hard on my shoes and the wool feels like it may wear faster than some of the synthetic materials that most shoes are made from. ... show more

I was a bit skeptical of these shoes when they first arrived, with the whole outer and insole being made of wool, but after wearing them for a few days, I'm sold. While not waterproof, the wool outer does a great job of keeping dry and keeping dirt off them, and even when they do get wet they dry quickly. I haven't had the opportunity to attempt to wash them in the washing machine yet, but the fact that it's even an option is awesome. They also shape to your foot beautifully; when I first put them on they felt a bit tight in the toes, but the wool reshaped as I wore them and soon they were fitting like they were made for my feet. I’m not someone who gets excited about shoes, but these are surprisingly comfortable and lightweight. So far, I’ve only worn to work and a date night with a 2 mile walk after, and have to recommend for a comfy casual shoe. I’m not sure I want to use these on long walks, like all day site seeing, because there is not a lot of support, and the soles are thin, I can feel the bumps on the ground. But still, the material and comfort are a step above (compared to some other top name brands I’ve tried and like a lot). I have a long flight and holiday coming up, and will likely wear these on the plane, and for some days/nights out. I’m also going to try them sockless, as per the video. And will try the machine wash option when I return. Regarding sizing, I would typically go with a 9.5US, but since they only make whole sizes, I followed the advice to size up, and for sure, fit is just right. ... show more

Fit is pretty true to size in my opinion. I normally wear an 11W or 11.5, but they don't offer half sizes or wide so I sized up like suggested and they are a tad long FOR ME (to be expected) and width is about average (tight on MY wide feet, also to be expected). The build quality feels pretty good. The merino wool is super soft and comfortable; that being said it picks up hairs and gets dirty fairly easily. But they are also machine washable so that shouldn't be too big of an issue. There's only 2 thing I don't like. The first being the wool does not feel like its going to hold up long term (I will update in the future whether this is true or not). The second is that the sole is pretty uncomfortable. The shape does not agree with my admittedly flatter than average feet. I will continue to wear to see if they just need to be broken in better, but going from a very comfortable shoe like Yeezys to these is night and day. Bonus points for being made from natural and responsibly sourced materials. More companies need to take initiative like Allbirds! ... show more
