I am so happy I decided to buy this wig. It came so full and soft no shedding, just bouncy and lovely! I am not certain I can call it a beginner's wig as it needs customizing. After getting customized and wearing as a frontal I decided to make it into a v-part wig by cutting it in the middle part (not telling anyone to do that) but it worked for me since wearing it as a frontal irritated my hairline, I added clip ins to secure it. First Impression: Wig came styled already, bob is cut straight no customization needed it you like your bobs long … hair is very soft This wig my head perfectly too. I never purchased a wig that fit this snug and comfortable to my head. For this reason I would definitely purchase again. My only two cons to this wig is that when I tried to bleach the knots, I left the bleach for a half hour and it didn’t take. I had to finesse the knots with make up and concealer tape. One other con is that I was putting silk therapy oil on the hair and it sat on top of the spot I rubbed it to first. This hair is Betsy sensitive to oils. Use a spray bottle to spray evenly. Also be cautious on how much spray you use because it changes the texture and makes it look a little synthetic when using too much. Overall I would definitely purchase again, because of the convenience. Very easy install. Easy to go glueless as well. ... show more

The hair feels very soft, however, I don’t think this wig is worth the money. There were some good qualities about it. Like I said, it’s soft, when I washed it, there wasn’t a lot of dye coming off. The reason why I don’t think it’s worth it is because the ends are very thin and see-through. The first maybe 12 inches of the wig is pretty full, but as you go down the shaft of the hair, it thins out. Additionally, the wig is so big I had to cut off about 2 inches from the part just so that it would fit my head. I don’t have a small head. It’s OK, and it will definitely be an under the hat wig, or just going to the grocery store wig. Definitely not a go to. Again I wouldn’t recommend. ... show more

    • Love wig. HATE THE CAP!
I bought this wig with high hopes but sadly, my hopes diminished as I attempted to constantly adjust the wig cap size. I'm not sure whose head this is supposed to fit (especially since the unit is not meant to cover the entire head- hence u-part). It's huge! I've sewn it, in hopes that it would adjust the size...NOPE! I tried the elastic band but it still gathers & bunches in the back. There's no way that I could ever wear this in a ponytail or an updo. It just doesn't fit. The hair texture is BEAUTIFUL! It's perfect fit a natural girl. Word of advise to the vendor... Make these wigs in various cap sizes because currently their only for larger heads. UPDATE: The manufacturer reached out to me regarding the unit and offered some alternatives. I love that they're responsive and attentive to their customers concerns. Will definitely try another wig type from them because the kinky straight hair quality is very good. The media could not be loaded. This wig was definitely worth the buy. Only thing I will say that I don’t like about the hair is the way it’s made. (More so inconvenience than an actual issue) the wig is made to look like a frontal but the tracks are sown very close to the hair line and make it impossible to change my part so I am stuck with a middle part. Because I intended on by a frontal I expected to be able to switch up the part but I definitely can’t. It also makes plucking a little hard because you don’t want to pluck too much where you can see the tracks in the front but you still don’t want it too look “wiggy”. Other than that, the hair is super soft and silky. There was little to no shedding when I first opened it and again it was very soft to the touch. The knots came very dark so I bleached the knots and after bleaching I toned and conditioned the hair. After drying it was a little shedding which I contribute to bleaching the knots which can happen and then I plucked the hair line slightly to my liking. The lace was easy to lay and the wig fit PERFECTLY! I would say this wig is definitely worth the buy. ... show more

I selected 18", texture is 3B or 3C listed as kinky curly pattern(.curly, not kinky though) . I love the length gives me more styling options: pull sides back, pull up into ponytail/bun or wear down. Per the instructions, I cowashed/conditioned before wearing this unit and there was only a small amount of shedding. It was very soft before and after conditioning and the curls loosened. Perfect color on me 1B/natural. I would definitely purchase from Alipearl in the future. High quality, well worth $$. Takes time to get used to clips-very sturdy/tight hold. I had to adjust strap as tight as possible & tuck the sides at temple under because it's still about 1 inch too big. I have a small head. I blended my leave out hair over the weft (around the V part) and teased up hair closest to the weft. ... show more
