I exchanged it for an 8 petite, and it was perfect! It fit my figure well while still being comfortable. This dress was for my wedding. When I ordered this dress I expected the same but I could hardly get it past my hips and there was no way I was zipping it. MOB here. I love the fit of this dress. I bought a 10 petite. The length was perfect, too! The color is more of a grayish blue. Well made. Very flattering. It is so very heavy though and the wedding will be during the peak of summertime. It would be perfect for a winter, spring wedding. I am returning. I’m going with my first pick. Follow up on my return. Amazon received dress over a week ago. For future reference, only buy Amazon items with their own credit card or you’ll still be waiting for refund. This seems like a delay tactic in returning your money. I’m not happy with that. Also, I received this dress without the scarf and was missing any type of price tag which I wrote in note on my return. Buyer beware.
