I have well over 25 authentic Alex and Ani bracelets, necklaces and charms. To save time, I ordered the, Path of Life, bracelet online for a gift. I specifically did this to save time from shopping at the store. I will NEVER do this again. When I opened up the Alex and Ani box, immediately I knew something was off. The box looked scratched and used. The bracelet was also loose and floating around in the box. But what upsets me the most is that the actual charm was defective and cracked. The bracelet weight feels UNUSUALLY light and the sound of the charms sound like cheap plastic when you jingle it. When I compared the sound of the metal of this bracelet to several of my authentic Alex and Ani brand bracelet, there was a definite difference in the sound of the charms hitting each other. Additionally, the tag seem questionably inauthentic and reproduced. I will have to return the bracelet and will be going right to an Alex and Ani store to them further compare braclets. I will do a follow up review to let you know if my suspicions are correct or not. In conclusion, the Alex and Ani bracelet I received from this company it either fake or they sold me an obviously defective poor quality reject of a bracelet that I paid full price for. I’m upset that this was a waste of my time and money, and will ultimately have to take time out of my extremely busy schedule now last minute to drive to the store anyway just to repurchase this as a gift. Regarding Pictures: The first 3 pictures are of the bracelet I purchased. If you look at the stamped number looks hand stamped (or defectively made). This was obviously a fake. I have several authentic Alex and Ani bracelets and this one was much smaller (can’t stretch to fit comfortably.) I would say it’s 5-6 inches diameter, not the 7 1/2 as described. The metal was lighter in color and weight. It felt very cheap. Ive never had to write a bad review on amazon, but I was really disappointed in this bracelet. It was supposed to be a gift and didn’t even come with a box or nice bag. It was in a plastic bag. This is my first charm bracelet from Alex and Ani; I bought it because my friend told me they were of high quality and durability. This is the problem with buying online - the charm on my bracelet has a pool of extra varnish (?) that partially fills some loops and detracts from the overall appearance of the charm. The bracelet otherwise seems well made and durable, and maybe it’s just a defect in my particular item. Had I been in the store I would have exchanged it for another one without the defect; since I purchased it online for myself I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of trying to exchange the item. First time Ive ever bought one of these bracelets on amazon and it seems to be an authentic Alex and Ani bracelet. Same size and color as my other Alex and Ani bracelets. Pleased with my purchase. Will update if it starts to turn or anything.

My daughter was very pleased with this bracelet that she asked me to purchase so she could give it as a gift. However , she was disappointed that it did not come in a box, just a plastic sleeve. She had to find a box to be able to wrap it nicely.
