This is a very nice standing desk for a laptop. It was very easy to put together, but it does have some flaws. If you look at the pictures you'll notice that it has the splotches on it that run along the top and keyboard area. The top area also has an issue where the right side corner is peeling. That's brand new out of the box, so my guess is this probably won't last that long with daily use before it starts looking a bit sad. Other than that slight annoyance mine is very sturdy, even when raised all the way. It's light, easy to move around, and does the job. This adjustable height desk has been amazing for working at home. Since working from home I have been sitting more often, definitely more than I need to be. This desk helps me to function and get my work done, however I‘m able to do it while on my feet. It has been good to take a break from sitting. Standing while I work has benefited me in so many ways. While standing I can have the computer screens at eye level and be ergonomically correct. It has helped improve my posture, as before I would often slouch in my office chair in order to see my screen. I have found that I am also more alert while standing and working. I feel that my productivity is much higher. Sitting in my chair sometimes makes me want to go to sleep, standing and keeping my blood circulating helps me stay focused and obviously it’s much better for my overall health. Standing over sitting helps burn more calories as well. This desk is very well made. It is very heavy, extremely durable. There is plenty of surface space for working. I bought this desk because I have spinal problems in several areas and needed to have ability to customize height. The instructions were clearly written. I have assembled various furniture for years and no other instructions better. Assembly was easy except for 2 places. In one, I had to remove a blob from the welding. The base is sturdy but not so much the top. Was nervous about putting a computer on it, but then again it’s more for laptops. But went together quickly. Should of just got a regular desk on marketplace for $20 more.

This item was packed very well for shipping and I don’t believe that the damage was a result of shipping. I think these blemishes were straight from the factory. I’ll likely have to replace the cheap laminate boards.
