My cat doesn’t mind this collar at all. We ended up removing the bell as our cat is very active and it’s quite loud, and in the end just put the AirTag holder on a different collar because this one started to fray quickly. It is good for the price!

I bought this AirTag cat collar for a young cat that we wanted to track it's whereabouts. The material and closure were of quality and we liked the options of so many colors. We found out that the breakaway works very well after she got caught up on a fence. The collar does not come with the Apple AirTag and we had purchased it separately. This is nothing to do with the collar but I have to say I was very disappointed in the the AirTag and the ability to track. The AirTag emits a Bluetooth signal that nearby Apple devices can detect, sending the location to iCloud. Apparently the people of our neighborhood only owns Androids as we could only track the location when it was close to our home. ... show more

I like the look of this collar on my cat. She seems comfortable, and the airtag stays in. Breakaway works as intended. Removed one star because the bell is irresponsible to leave on the collar. I removed hers, but it shouldn't be there in the first place.

    • If you are buying this for an outdoor cat, STOP and READ!

I just purchased this for my outdoor cat that just relocated, along with an air tag and leash. I kept him in for the first week. During that week I tested the air tag and it worked great. The second week I started taking short walks with him on the leash so he could start to acclimate to his new surroundings. After a few days of short walks, I let him out off the leash for the first time. As he explored the yard I stood a few feet back and used my phone to test how well it tracked outside. Seemed to be fine. All of a sudden my cat took off running full speed and quickly disappeared through my neighbors fence. I tried to pursue but couldn’t. Looked at my phone and it had already lost signal. I got in the car and drove around trying to track him but it couldn’t pick up the AirTag. Dejected I eventually returned home and was happy to find him at the back door. I did more research after this experience and discovered the following: - AirTags rely on Bluetooth to connect and have about a 50ft range if outside. - AirTags also don’t do well if an animal is moving. DONT USE AN AIRTAG for OUTDOOR PETS. Unless they are confined to a small area, it won’t work. This collar is fine for what’s its intended for. It’s breakaway and safe. Just want to warn others from making my mistake. If you are acclimating an outdoor animal that may wander off and want the ability to track them if they do, look at GPS trackers. ... show more
