Description

At BreathableBaby, safety is first, last, and everything in between. That's why we have invested countless hours into medical and scientific research to make our products safer. We invented and perfected the breathable mesh liner. Too many babies get their arms or legs stuck in between slats, which can be painful for babies – not to mention scary and exhausting. So we created the mesh liner to simply and safely solve the problem. The original breathable mesh liner with millions sold since 2002. Unlike padded bumpers, our mesh liners keep little limbs safely inside without the risk of restricted airflow. BreathableBaby is all about helping caregivers feel confident and in control – and get some sleep! Simple. Smart. Safe Sleep. Only from BreathableBaby, of course.

  • Don’t listen to people saying “it’s loose” it “falls down”
Anyone who says this product doesn’t stay up/ is loose is most definitely not putting it on right. I had trouble bc I dropped the directions and didn’t realize it came with them. Once I found them it was pretty simple and if your cribs a couple slates to small you just move the end from the first slate on the side to the second or third which ever makes it snug. If your child’s ripping it off then they clearly don’t need bumpers. Bought this because my daughter loved being right up against the side of her bassinet and pack and play and the day I put her in her crib for 5 minutes to see what she would do she stuck her legs right out the side. This is so snug that is doesn’t even need the ties and it won’t slide down. I no longer have a worry that 1, she will get her legs/arms stuck, 2, that she will bash her face on the railings or 3, have her face up against something that wouldn’t allow her to breath. ... show more

  • Great paci trapper
So far I am extremely happy with this product. I bought this for one purpose, to keep pacifiers in the crib. We have followed the AAP recommendations for safe sleep during infancy and now that we have entered toddlerhood I am more comfortable with “extra” things in the crib. I installed this around the base of the crib weaving it through the rails of it. So the bottom sits on the crib base and come ups over the mattress about 3 inches or so. Since all I really want it for is keeping the pacifiers in I am not worried about my toddler using it to try to escape because it is not tall enough installed this way or strong enough to support that kind of weight. It slips down, I tested it with my toddler when awake. The fabric is breathable but that’s a reason I weaved it through the tails, for extra piece of mind that if it does come apart while toddler is sleeping it would be more difficult to pull to much into the bed to cause a problem. ... show more

  • Gives peace of mind
My son likes to sleep with his face against the edge of the crib like in the picture. He is always sticking his limbs out when he crawls around as well as bumps his head so I didn’t know what to do. But despite reading reviews of how it didn’t work for them I purchased them anyways. And I love them. Does exactly what they claim to do. I have a standard crib and I got the 9in and it’s a little big but I read the instructions and figured it out and it works great. Have had it on the crib for a few days and now I don’t have to worry about him getting too close since it’s breathable. It’s squishy enough that when he bumps his head it doesn’t seem to hurt him anymore. It’s affordable and the quality is great for every moms peace of mind while their baby sleeps! ... show more

  • PACIFIER SAVER
My son's pacifiers kept falling behind the crib and when they would fall out the front my dog would chew it up. We have lost so many pacifiers that way and I was tired of having to buy so many. At one point I pulled the crib out and there were 7 behind it. Not to mention the waking up and crying in the middle of the night when the pacifier was thrown out. I am very happy with this purchase because I no longer have to worry about the pacifier being thrown out or my dog chewing them up. This also stops my dog from sticking her paws in the crib and trying to grab my son's blankets. I should have bought this from the beginning. ... show more

  • Not perfect
The material is what I expected, I did find it a bit hard to get right and never feel like I did. I don’t like the ties- they didn’t match up well with the rungs on our crib. The bumper can easily be moved up and down even with the ties. My son still gets his leg caught, but not nearly as much before. ... show more

  • Keeps baby safe with no show look!
You can barely see the mesh bumper! Since recommendations from pediatricians are NOT to use a thick bumper (they contribute to SIDS) this is a great alternative so baby’s arms and legs stay in the crib. Not the easiest to put on- but instructions help! Very please with it’s no show look and safety combined. ... show more

  • It’s ok...
Update: Please do not waste your money, this product does not stay up especially if you have a 7 month old that loves to stand up on them. No matter how tight you get them or how closely you follow instructions they just don’t stay up. I have fought more with her feet getting trapped between the mesh and her mattress more than her legs going through the bars. I purchased this to prevent my baby from her legs getting trapped between the gaps on her crib...despite following the instructions it doesn’t stay up and I have it about as tight as it will go... ... show more

  • Would be better with more ties
This is okay. It does keep my daughter from accidentally dropping her binki out of her crib, but she easily pulls it down to the crib (and then purposefully throws her binki out so I’d have to come in her nursery 🤦🏼♀️). It also didn’t fit that great around her STANDARD sized crib because the ends are velcro, so I could either barely get it to velcro at the top only or it would be too loose if I moved one slat back because the velcro strip isn’t that long. I think if there were more ties throughout its length, and the option to tie the ends instead of relying on the velcro would really make this product great. ... show more
