I bought this because I needed an upgrade and I absolutely love the tool chest. There is a lot of room - it’s incredibly spacious, without the actual tool chest itself having to be some huge, oversized piece. It comes mostly assembled, you just need to add a handle, and put the three drawer chest either on top or on the bottom. The drawers are split into several different depth’s, which is great for organizing tools of all shapes and sizes. I love that the top lid opens and also locks, so you can put items in there that you do not want anyone messing with. It’s also great that you can put any larger items or tools in the bottom area (which also locks), because it’s a big open space that’s able to accommodate a lot of different sized items. The wheels seem to roll very smoothly and the locks on the wheels work well. Overall, I really like this tool chest a lot and I am glad I upgraded to it. ... show more

First, the high marks. Well-designed, sliding-storable front cover, keyed locks, good quality steerable and locking wheels, ball bearing slides, push bar and exterior tool hangers, good paint job,pads for all drawers and top of lower cabinet. The packaging was "almost good enough". Negatives. " Almost good enough" packaging does not protect the top corners of the lower cabinet in transit. The top left rear corner wad crushed, resulting in torquing of theframe. The damage is not noticeable from the front and none of the functions were mpaired. Only three of the wheels contacted the floor, which I remedied by adjusting the stem length. The steel for the large surfaces is very light. Overall it is adequate for home use. ... show more

Like so many other products shipped from China, virtually no attention is paid to packaging beyond some rudimentary cushioning. The sheet metal bends even under loads supposedly softened by the large top and bottom cushions. This is the second one I've bought since I was needing a matched pair. They arrived at different times and by different means but each had various dents and dings. The first one was manageable after I did a little minor panel beating. This one (the second one) was beyond attempting anything like that. I see other reviewers complaining about bent metal and dings. I wonder if the manufacturer is interested in investing what must be a fraction of the product engineering cost into developing appropriate, cost-effective packaging that acknowledges the likely shock and vibration during shipping. Incidentally I went ahead and bought another chest almost identical to this one from WAYTRIM's line on Amazon and it was exemplary in its packaging. Needless to say, it arrived in perfect unblemished condition. OK so now I got a replacement for the last one I bought and stupid me for expecting any different result. It holds a lot of tools and it looks good. I need about 30 minutes to unpack and put it together patiently, so that was easy. Mainly just putting the wheels on it. The packaging was calculatedly adequate, had some bashes but was unscratched. It rolls nice and the drawers are smooth and feel secure closing. There are pads in each drawer and separate locks for top and bottom if you need those. The size is as advertised and it seems good for my home garage use. It's helping me get better organized. The metal sheets used to manufacture is thin and you feel it as and when you drag the entire storage. So be watchful if you consider the thickness of the sheets used. Overall well designed and accomodates all your tools.
