  • A little pricey for what they are.
Caliber: 0.45
While I understand air venturi is an air gun company I thought I'd use these in my colt 1851. The dimensions are good but most of the balls have a small bit of lead protruding on one side from not being ground off from the casting. The lead is also a little on the soft side even for lead. I've noticed when pressing them into the chamber my loading press deforms the front of the ball. they do infact work for cap and ball and are reasonably accurate at 50 yards but Hornady round balls are half the price. if this is your only source of lead go for it. ... show more

  • Great hunting for small game
Caliber: 9.0
This round Works wonderful for squirrel hunting. The rounds look horrible when they arrive, very dirty and not uniformed at all. To my surprise they actually shoot pretty accurate. I have to say for the price you cannot beat this round if you are using your Bulldog for squirrel hunting.

  • Over priced
Caliber: 0.457
Cheaper than a mold to see if your gun likes this size, and if it can shoot this light of a slug. Then buy a mold. Now if cheap lead was still available. I would only shoot cast slugs. Only a few of the high powered airguns can shoot this light of a slug. Many will have a problem with the valve. My Hatsan loves them. My AEA can't use them. Mind you, a 45 cal muzzel loader ball is usually only .440-.445, not .457. When you get a mold, make sure it's .457. ... show more

They are okay for the price. I buy these when the price drops really low, then I simply melt them all down and recast my own pellets. And since this is really good lead. It makes really good recasts, in 9mm

  • WORST PELLET EVER SEEN IN SEVERAL DECADES OF AIRGUNNING
Caliber: 9.0
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE!! They are a total waste of time and money. I bought them due to good price... about half as much as other ammo in 9mm. I figured, its a round ball... how bad can they be? I've shot round ball before and they seemed fine. Got these in yesterday and opened the box; to my surprise I could immediately see at lest a half dozen pellets with HUGE sprues on them and one was about a 3/4 hemisphere, an obvious short pour but all these mis shaped pellets got into the box anyway. Terrible quality control. I have heard good things about this company before, so figured I'm just being too picky and maybe they'll shoot just fine.... wrong, wrong, wrong. Loaded a couple magazines and off to the back yard... I could not even sight in a new scope I put on the gun (Evanix). Switched to H&N 83g conicals and no problems whatsoever, the holes stacked over one another. So its not the scope or rifle or shooter. To be fair, I did pick the worst looking pellets in the box (wanted to use teh junk ones first while still at very close range, sighting in new scope); the variation of these obviously bad ones was something on the near order of + or - 8 inches at 5 yards, but hard to tell as they are not consistent enough to get a good reading. Some sprues are so long you can nearly pick the pellet up (using your fingernails) touching only the sprue. ... show more

  • The ones that were manufactured properly however were pretty accurate in my gun
Caliber: 9.0
I purchased these for use in my Evanix Max ML. Many of them were malformed and I was unable to fit them into the magazine. The ones that were manufactured properly however were pretty accurate in my gun. They were getting hurled out at around 785 - 804 fps and hit with authority. The price is right so I just accepted the bad ones. ... show more

Bought these to use in an AEA Defender. After a punch through a .357 sizing Die, the fit and perform perfectly. I will buy more.👍
