Features

  • COMPATIBILITY - The airdrop system is compatible with the DJI AIR 3 drone with a maximum payload of 500g, a built-in battery capacity of 150mAh, a full charge in 1.5 hours and a full charge for 300 flights.
  • Landing Gear with Aerial Drop - The landing gear has been raised by 1.3 cm (0.51 inches) to effectively prevent ground debris from contaminating the drone or damaging the gimbal and fuselage during take-off and landing.
  • UNLIMITED OPERATING RANGE - Directly control the airdrop with the RC-N2 / RC 2 drone remote control without the limitations of remote control distance, creating more new possibilities. At family gatherings, Halloween, Christmas, birthday parties, you can drop balloons, flowers, confetti, candy, party favours, drinks, etc., adding unlimited fun to life.
  • EASY INSTALLATION - The AIR 3 dropping system is one piece, eliminating the need for rubber bands to attach additional sensor cables to the bottom of the drone.
  • ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT AND COMPACT - The AIR 3 transport dropper weighs approximately 2.68 ounces (76 grams) and will not interfere with normal drone transport or flight speed.

  • Arrived defective, but was replaced with a working unit.
first one arrived defective. The servo would stutter until powered off. It uses a small RC servo, so those types of things are expected to happen over time. The replacement works just fine.

  • Works as described and fully meets my requirements
The media could not be loaded. The attachment strap is pliable plastic, feels sturdy, and snugly fits the mid aircraft fuselage. The trigger sensor located at the center bottom of the mounting has a small ridge designed to engage and locate the strap right over the toward facing auxiliary light. When properly located with the strap's directional arrow facing the aircraft's forward direction, the cam lock snap secures the strap in place. The provided RCN2 programming instructions are not necessary if you have not changed the defaults. The Auxiliary Light does not operates unless the aircraft is really flying. My first functionally test was 100% successful. Highly recommend the product. I would not call it a dropper. I'd call it an on-demand auxiliary payload release. ... show more

  • This thing makes my drone EVEN BETTER
My air 3 can lift and carry a full Gatorade - as high as I want - and drop it Aim camera straight down - send it. I'm brewing up a pretty cool game Wish I had more friends with the Air3

  • Works well, but drone descends slowly
This drop system seems to work very well and can easily carry the max load that the Air 3 is capable of carrying, which is about 500g. The only thing I don’t like about it is that because of how it fastens to the drone, it interferes with the bottom sensors to make the drone think it’s landing when in fact you’re still way up in the air. It descends very slowly. It could also partly be the fact that the purpose I’m using it for (candy drop) requires the basket to remain attached while I descend, so it’s coming down with a little bit of weight still attached to it, which could cause it to hesitate to come down. Not sure what all is the cause of it, but I’ve learned how to deal with it and it’s been working out. ... show more

  • So Much FUN!
This product is hilarious! So much fun to fool around with! Easy to set up and use and anyone with the DJI Air 3 will have no problem setting up! Since it relies on the auxiliary light on the drone you can fly far away and still have it work!

  • Only the accessories for DJI Mavic AIR 3
I misunderstood the product description to include the DJI Mavic AIR 3 delivery drone. As it turned out, I only received the landing gear accessories. Therefore, I can't really use them as I don't even have the DJI Mavic AIR 3 drone myself.

  • Works as advertised, but be cautious.
This product is a lot of fun and can carry up to 500 grams. The leg extensions are very handy if you’re on an uneven surface and are very convenient when working with the payload system. To provide clarification as to how this functions, the payload system works because it has a light sensor that rests under the Air 3’s auxiliary light. That being said, make sure you are aware of local rules and regulations before purchasing this as you won’t be able to use the light. When you trigger the light to go on, the airdrop system will open, releasing the payload. Be careful when using this system. If the payload isn’t secured to the string you are using, you are in a dangerous spot for the drone. If the payload releases from the string and the drone descends before release, the string could get caught up in the propellers and send your drone crashing. One other thing I dislike about the product is that the leg extensions prevent the drone from collapsing to fit in a travel bag. Because of this, they will need to be removed and put on as needed. If, like me, you were confused about how to put on the back legs, look at my picture to see how they attach. Overall, I really enjoy this product and would suggest it for anyone looking to do something a little fun and different with their drone. ... show more
