I needed to replace four sconce lights in the bedroom and was looking for something totally different. I wanted ones that would dim also. They weren’t too hard to put in once I put the first one in, and I had three more to go, so a total of four lights. I was concerned about the size as it is a large bedroom, but with two on one wall and two on the other, there’s plenty of light. The dimming isn’t the best with these bulbs but they do dim with a bit of a flicker if I dim them too much where as the ones I replaced had regular lightbulbs and I didn’t have a problem with flickering. Actually looks even better in real life. The black frames match the fireplace surround. The way the light projects up and down accents the stacked rock. Installation was very simple. I have changed out almost every light fixture in our house. This one took a bit for me to do because where I put it and the design. 1. The builder put the light box too close to the door frame for this light to have lights shine up and down. I ended up putting it sideways and actually like it more! It sends more light down the stairs vs just at the top of the stairs. 2. Lining up the tiny screws with the wall bracket took a bit. Happy overall. Looks much better then just the basic light bulb socket the builder put there with and exposed lightbulb. My son says out of all the fixtures I update he likes the look of this one.
