02.29.2020. And Im updating again its been over 3 years now and it still fast charging and looks and works perfect as new. I switched 2 cars and 3 phones now and still use this one and only charger. I purchased this thing with my own money and want to help people like myself to save money on original top brand car charger, as it never even worked this long in my experience. Its 03.18.2019 and i now charge my brand new galaxy s10 with this same charger ! 11.09.2018 : its been over a year and this thing still fast charges my phone and blue light still works. I can tell you that most original samsung fast chargers rarely survives a year and this charger still works like new for $10 ! I bought this charger with my own money i didn't get anything free to brag about it . I just want people to know this cheap charger is better in quality then most original ones costing 3 times as much. Really fast charging ,see my pictures. The blue light is cool and helpful as well. The second port is not fast charging though. Still recommend it ,works as good as the original samsung charger for less then half the price! ... show more

Works great, and very reliable. The old charger I got from 7-11 wouldn't even keep a connection to my cigarette lighter properly, but this one's nice and tight and has a solid connection. Charges quickly through the quick charge port, as expected, and slower through the other port. Make sure you keep them straight if you want quick charging. And this is not a knock on the adapter itself but just something to be aware of - I liked the idea of an LED ring, but now I wish I'd gotten one without that. The problem is my outlet supplies power whether the car is on or not, so if I leave this plugged in, it's constantly drawing a small amount of power just to light that LED. It's not going to do anything over a day or two but occasionally I don't use my car for a few days, and it definitely starts draining the battery by then. The car's harder to turn over. So just keep that in mind - not a problem if you drive every day *or* you use a switched outlet. ... show more

I got this during prime day and the deal was really good. I do like how it is bigger on the face which allows you to easily plug in your USB cords on the go. It is also a fast charger, so this is great for your phone, etc. The only issue I had with this, which I took away 1 star, is that it feels very lose in the cigarette adapter. I tried it in 2 different cars and same result. It almost feels broken like it doesnt fit correctly and wiggles. It still charges and works fine so I am keeping it, but you may notice it feels loose in the port. ... show more

TERRIFIC RESULTS! Works like a charm. Very fast. I received the Ailun car charger today and wanted to test how well it compared to my other alternatives. With my Samsung S8+ at about a 66% charge, I compared the predicted time to full charge (as stated on the phone) under 4 scenarios, two of which were the Ailun car charger: 1. As a baseline comparison (in my home office), my S8+ connected to a wall outlet and fast charger from Samsung: predicted time to full charge = 45 minutes. 2. In the car, with the cable plugged into the standard USB port that came installed in the car: 2 hours 19 minutes (SLOWWWW) 3. In the car, with the cable plugged into the blue USB port of the Ailun car charger: predicted time to full charge = 52 minutes. 4. In the car, with the cable plugged into the orange 3.0 USB port of the Ailun car charger: predicted time to full charge = 46 minutes. 5. Back in my office, I retested the connection to the wall outlet - with same results as in #1 above. RESULT: the Ailun car charger was very fast - equivalent to using the standard Samsung fast charger and cable plugged into a wall outlet. I'm very happy with it. Charges fast, and it seems that if one of the slots isn't working fast enough I just switch to the other and get better results. Durable, and most importantly stays in it's place. The 3.0 and android usb port both fast charge. I can stream music and charge at the same time being rock solid pretty much losing no charge for indefinite periods of time. Dead battery charges very quickly - seems very retentive - does not lose charge quickly like some other chargers I have had in the past. This is the fastest charger I have ever had in a car before. Solid as well. The blue ring makes it easy to see at night time - usb ports are lit as well. Looks big, fits small staying out of the way, receded. I recommend highly. ... show more

Always wait, use an item b4 leaving review. This one longer than most. For the $$$, this is worth it's weight in gold! My LG G6 worked better than on home charger. My girl's HTC Uwhatever works better than plugged in the house! Think that's enough? Just purchased an ASUS Vivo Flip 15 notebook.... has ASUS's "Quick Charge" but only through USB. Since standard wall charger doesn't have USB in any shape form or fashion & nothing I have to use as an adapter to charge with the USB I took it in the car and used this on my laptop....
