    • tricky to install but great kitchen lights!
like all LED fixtures, I suggest testing them out of the box before installing! not going to lie, these are hard to install... you can't pick where to place the mounting holes (like picking a joist for example), you pick where the fixture goes and then use the template and hope you can drill accurate holes in the ceiling - no room for error.... the saving grace was the cables you use to suspend the light fixture while completing the wiring. after all that, we are so happy with the lights. replaced two old fluorescent (4tube) fixtures with two of these, much brighter and more pleasant (we use the warm temperature in the evening, daylight setting while cooking). I can finally see fine in the kitchen! also, the old fixtures were about 5" deep, so now the ceilings are less cluttered (we are tall) and kitchen feels larger. the memory feature works as advertised - remembers previous temp setting. ... show more

All the hardware was cheap. Stripped out the toggle anchors before they were in contact with the drywall. Had to go buy nuts to back them up. Light works good, looks good.

Excellent product at a reasonable price. Provides plenty of brightness (which can be easily adjusted) if that is what you want. I needed something easy to install and efficient in my workshop and these lights did it.

It's extremely difficult to install over a ceiling junction box; it isn't meant to use a ceiling junction box for splicing; there's not room to splice the conductors; the splices have to be concealed in the very edge where it's hard to try not to pinch the wires with that sharp metal frame. And if isn't enough ugliness, its metal frame is too squarely, too ugly, no class at all; it should have been beveled for better appearance. That square box on the ceiling looks very cheap and ugly; I installed this fixture in a closet, so the appearance is not important. The color change isn't that impressive; but, it's OK to have that feature even if confuses users that ignore how to change those colors of light. And the worse part is that it isn't dimmer friendly, it needs a real good expensive one to keep it from that annoying flickering that seems to be another of its features or defects. ... show more
