This hair is beautifully color blended. Very soft to touch and doesn't tangle easily. However, right out of the package I could tell it wouldn't seal very well after dipping in hot water. I decided to braid pretty far down considering it wouldn't seal well. I dipped 3xs in boiling hot water. These are the results. The hair I'm reviewing is the black-blue-light blue. The black braids were done with 100% kanekalon. I used 3 packs of the color blend for half head. Great value for your money. ... show more

This hair was great! I mixed the purple ombre with red hair from a different brand, and the colors are so vibrant. The only downsides were that it wasn't pre-streched, and it did get pretty tangled when I stretched it. Also, it bled a little when I dipped it.

I used an iron and it did okay. I tried hot water and it just got very puffy. Pretty color, but not great for heat sealed dreads.

After purchasing pre-made dreads on Amazon I decided that it would be better to do my own. I had a huge learning curve and so I wasted quite a bit of hair while getting it figured out, but this hair wound up being perfect! The ombre is dyed into the hair, unlike the pre-made ones I purchased where the dark color at the top flaked off. These were much softer hair and better quality. I did use the iron steam method to seal my dreads and the twists held up very well IMO. I did not seal crochet style or the braids since they basically stay together on their own. The light purple and black twists were 2 different bundles that I mixed, I also purchased the black from this seller. The hair was easy to work with for a novice maker and I would buy again.
