If you want to skip the details of the review it's a great light for the price. I'll start with the only reason I left 4 stars instead of 5. Build quality is not quite a robust as I'd preferred. The AC input plug is entirely too short at around 4' long. That being said, it's not flimsy just not as robust as the higher end competitors lights. It's also not as expensive. The light covers a 6x6 area easily, is as bright as the higher end competitor and doesn't generate quite as much heat. I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and am really impressed with it. If you're looking for a 1000W light on a budget it's impossible to pass this up. I bought it at 499 which is a deal. If it creeps up around 700 I would probably consider going with a higher end light that has IOS connections, better drivers and leds but if they keep the price around 500 it's one of the best bargains on Amazon. ... show more

My light went out after about 10 months of use. I contacted the seller about the three year warranty that’s included with your purchase on all aglex products (not the extended warranty you have to buy). They had me send a video of it not working. After that they determined I needed a new power supply and sent me a new one. It arrived quickly and my light is back in working condition. They were extremely fast with email responses.
