The media could not be loaded. WOW! I didn't expect this to be as good as it was when I ordered this portable Steam/Sauna. First off, it is tall enough for a person 6 feet or shorter to stand fully up in. Second it has an aluminum frame system that gives it a solid structure. Other systems I've seen use a tent pole style system that isn't as sturdy. The only caveat is that this makes it more suited to having a permanent place in your house or garage to set it up in since you would need to disassemble the aluminum frame to store it away. Setup took me about 15 minutes. Now that I've done it once, I could do it more quickly the next time. The Steam room/tent is large enough that two smaller framed people could sit in it together on a bench style seat, but it would be close quarters. If you are a larger framed person, you'll have plenty of room to sit without touching the walls. The steam mechanism can be controlled on the steam box itself or by remote control. It has 15 levels of heat which allows you to get your perfect temperature you like. It took about 8 minutes for the cold water I put into the steamer box to become nice and steamy which is on par with how long it takes a typical steam room to get nice and steamy. All the tubing and equipment were good quality and had no leaks. The clear zippered window let's you have natural light once inside so you aren't sitting in darkness. It comes with 2 floor mats (which was a nice plus) and 2 connecting plastic tubes for the enter/exit steam tubing so you have replacement parts for the two areas that might get the most wear and tear. It also comes with multi packs of descaling powder to clean the steam unit and keep it working at maximum efficiency. The chair that comes with the unit was surprisingly comfortable and can accommodate small, medium, and large frame body types. There is an outside storage compartment on the zippered door where you can put a cell phone to grab through the zippered window, if you needed to. It also has a mesh pocket inside the steam box for a dabbing towel and/or a water bottle. I also like that the steam unit also has an auto shut off, in the even it runs out of water. I am very impressed with all you get for such a low price. The only negative I experienced was that it will take a moment to figure out how best to position the muti-zippers so that you can easily get in and out of the unit. Once you figure it out, it makes sense, but it took a moment for me to realize how to position them for best use. Given that a permanent steam room would cost you thousands of dollars, this gives you the same health benefits at a fraction of the cost! For less than the cost of a good massage, you can have your own personal steam room that can be used whenever you like! ... show more

This portable steam room was easy to set up and is easy to operate. It doesn’t take up a lot of room: you just need a space about 5’x2’ footprint with a nearby electrical outlet for the heater. It’s tall enough for most people standing (six foot or shorter) and wide enough to be roomy for sitting. The included folding chair is surprisingly comfortable - better than a lot of my camping chairs! I like that it has an automatic shutoff in case you run low on water, and that you can adjust the heat and timer. The poles holding its shape are aluminum and sturdy but not heavy: you could easily pick the entire assembled room up and move it if needed without having to take it apart. The fabric of the room itself if faintly padded and so far has held up well to sauna sessions. They give you two felted mats for the floor, and an extra plastic nozzle fitting for where the tubes join at the base of the steam room. There is a hook for a towel on the side, and pockets to hold other items. The window provides light, and is tall enough that you won’t be seen from outside if seated (although it gets steamy enough I don’t think anyone would see in). They also included packets of limescale remover for the water heater, a really nice extra. I found this system super easy to use. I do like to start it and let it run for about five to ten minutes before getting in, especially on cold nights, to let the heat and steam build up. Make sure you twist the top of the water reservoir tightly closed and seat the tubes firmly, so the steam will all go into the tubing and not escape around the edges. It functions great and being roomy and with a comfortable chair to relax in, I have really enjoyed this portable sauna! I have it set up on the back porch, and it is a great addition to the house. I have missed going to the sauna since I left Europe, there isn’t a gym with one close by where I live in the States, so having my own small individual steam room is wonderful. ... show more

Was impressed with how well it works. Setup was easy and the steam was more than adequate for me. That is until I went to use it a third time and notice the steam would not build up inside. After inspection the plastic steam generator top had completely cracked all the way across the top letting the steam escape there instead of going into the tent. The unit was in a 2nd bedroom and had not been disturbed at all other than the first two uses. Amazon has agreed to replace it with a new one, I'll see if the same thing happens but otherwise it works as advertised. ... show more

Steam rooms are a nice luxury, but adding a permanent one to your home is a big expense for something you probably won't use as much as you think. What is great about this steam room is it has a small footprint, only uses energy when you fire it up, and if you get tired of it or need the space, it breaks down into a size that is easy to store. As for operation, the steam generator takes a few minutes to get cooking, but once it is up to temperature, it produces volumes of hot steam, providing a relaxing environment. I like to alternate between the steam and my very cold swimming pool for a cheap heat/cool cycle. The timer on the steam generator makes it easy and the temp in the tent is pretty stable. Everything is included in this kit to have you steaming in minutes, so this is a great one stop present for the health nut in your family. We love it at our house and it gets used at least three times a week and is still working flawlessly. ... show more
