After getting a new grill old one cracked due to weight of older custom grill insert didn't care for the big gaps in the new stock grill so decided to try this and worked well put on in 4 easy steps 1 easily work it backwards around a 5 gallon bucket to strengthen it out 2 cut off and sand down all excess tabs and what not with dremel inside the grill mine was a nice flat surface when I was done 3 cut mesh insert to size and work to shape you need 4 tie it in with some thin durable wire from the craft section from walmart and done looks alot better for a stock grill now truck is a 97 gmc sierra for reference was a fun easy project ... show more

It comes in a roll , very easy to roll out in straighten. It was just enough to cover the grill. I attached it with thin wire. Should keep rocks a small birds out of the radiator

So I bought this worrying about the sizing and well they offer a number of sizes. When I received it it had a nice color of black not cheap paint quality black mesh. I put it on my bumper on the bottom and changed the whole look of the car from the bottom it fixed my gap under my bumper and it looks amazing great product! ... show more

My truck’s grill is wide open for any rocks or debris to kick up and cause direct damage to my radiator and various coolers to I added this mesh to protect it and it made for a solid guard. Everything is cut to fit and must be painstakingly epoxied in place but once you’re done it protects very well. Be aware that you must be precise with your measurements, I say this because the mesh is very sensitive to sharp bends. You can get one or two bends out of it before the metal breaks so make sure you are only bending it once to fit into whatever shape you need. ... show more

17 Tacoma TRD Off Road. The screen flattens easily by counter rolling bit by bit. It cuts easily with regular scissors. I made sure to cut it slightly larger than I measured, but following the shape of the area I wanted it to cover. I used small black zip ties that I got from Harbor Freight or somewhere for a few bucks for a tiny bag of 100. I believe it was rated for 10lb or 15lb, not sure but one of those smaller ones. Used 8 zip ties to keep the screen in the right place but the bottom was fitting in dented area so the bottom wouldn’t be moving anyways. Test drove Tacoma with screen behind the grill: no noise. I didn’t see any abnormal increase in water temp or I didn’t hear radiator fan starting more the usual. When I decide to change Tacoma grill, I can easily transfer the screen to new grill. I purchased this for 2 uses. My boyfriend needed some metal mesh material to re-cover the defrost holes n his truck & this stuff turned out nice. The other use is to make a jewelry holder for me. I need something to hang earrings on. Be aware that the measurements of the grate is not the size of the open holes. The mm measurements start on the outside of the open parts on the metal. I thought the stated size was of the open holes so it ended up being a bit smaller mesh than I was shooting for but I think it will still work fine. We used tin snips to cut it easily enuf. I think it would b too heavy for utility scissors. I thot the price was a few bucks more than some painted aluminum alloy mesh is actually worth but...meh, it looks like it will work for what I need it for. I'm gonna mount the mesh on a frame & hang it. Earrings will hook n the holes & I will affix some kind of hooks across the bottom for necklaces. The black should look nice 😊 ... show more
