Description

aFe offers the Takeda cat-back exhaust system for the 2013-2016 Ford Focus ST with the L4-2.0L (t) EcoBoost engine. In testing, this system resulted in gains up to +13 horsepower and +15 lbs. x ft. of torque verified by our in house dyno. This exhaust is constructed from 3", mandrel-bent, 304 stainless steel tubing that is 100% MIG-welded for increased flow. The system also uses a high-flow, polished 304 stainless steel resonator used to absorb high pitch tones producing a performance sound and unleashing all available horsepower and torque. This system is finished off with double wall, polished, 304 stainless steel tips that are laser etched for an aggressive style. This system uses all factory hanger locations for a hassle-free installation. Simple Installation: This Takeda kit uses factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle-free installation. Leak-Free Seal: A high quality OE- style flange is used to maintain a quality seal for the life of the exhaust system. Performance Sound: A high flow resonator is used to absorb high pitch tones producing a performance sound and unleashing all available horsepower and torque. Mitered Split: This Takeda cat-back incorporates a mitered split which eliminates dead space that can cause turbulence and hinder flow. Dual Black Tips: This system is finished off with double wall, polished, 304 stainless steel tips that are laser etched for an aggressive style. All aFe exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured in our Corona, California facility.

The clamps you sent with the product are too big, and as the stock exhaust needed to be cut off, there is no way for me to leave with my car today. And they won't be able to get my car finished till Monday. I am beyond upset, as the hardware that came with the exhaust was supposed to be usable. Also, the main straight pipe is too long and needs to be cut to size, and the mid pipe doesn't fit correctly. It's supposed to be a direct bolt on, and it is not. It's supposed to have all the hardware, and it doesn't. Highly disipointed. I want a refund, and I am going to have to pay over $400 to get it to work, and I am going to be out of a car for over 2 days. ... show more

This is an awesome exhaust. It sounds very aggressive but, not cheap. A clean, tuned but very aggressive sound. Once it's installed that is. 5 times this exhaust went on and came back off before it was right. It took a significant amount of fitment and customizing to get it lined up and clearing everywhere it was supposed to clear. It was especially challenging to get it centered on the bumper cut out. But, that's not the bad part. The bad part is, the edges are very unfinished. Meaning, there are literally razor blades everywhere. On every hanger there is an unfinished edge that is equal to a razor blade. Sliced right through a pair of mechanix gloves. Was the sound and performance worth all that? Yes, in the end it was. But, every other exhaust I've ever installed was safe to install. Not this one. SLP, Flowmaster, Cobb, Staintune all safe and have finished edges. AFE on the other hand, beeeeee careful! ... show more
