I ordered these in a 9, slightly larger than my desired 8.5. I have wide feet so went with a larger size in anticipation of the narrow toe fit. The toe fit perfectly but the shoe itself was very wide, as you can see the gapping in the shoe. I know with moderate wear my feet would soon be slipping out. Unfortunately, I have to return them. These are great-looking shoes! Seem well-made. Toe box was a little small but since the leather is soft, they would probably stretch after a bit of walking. Edit- after using them for half a day i think a half size bigger would be a better fit
