The wing barely lines up with the lines of the trunk. There are massive gaps all along the perimeter of the wing. Along the sides, the wing doesn’t sit flush with the trunk and has a curve to it where it’s supposed to sit flat against the top of the trunk. The gaps get far worse towards the center. Towards the center the gaps expand to 3-5mm, and clearly, when the knock-off “3M” tape they include in the kit is 2mm thick, you’ll need to double layer it in order to hope it fits. But even then, who wants to see visible layers of tape along the borders of the wing? The wing is also asymmetrical. It astounds me how they managed to do that, but their carelessness needs to be at a special level of ignorance to deem this acceptable. The back corner edges of the wing, where it’s supposed to “hook” onto the corner edges of the trunk, yeah those. Those two “hooks” are uneven. One side is present while the other side is almost nonexistent. How do you mess up a mold this bad? And finally, the finish. There’s pitting, scratches, and bubbles in the resin, and the wing, when viewed from a side angle, looks wavy. Did you give this wing a perm? Again, it astounds me how you managed to make something this poor and you really looked at it and said “yeah this is good”. An entire supply chain, at every step when someone could have said something, you all unanimously looked at this poorly crafted thing and genuinely thought, “ya, this is good.” On a side note, I noticed this was originally supplied to FBA from a company out in City of Industry, CA. BUYER BEWARE. This is the 4th wing of this type I’ve test fitted that have all coincidentally come out from the same general area. Take it as you will, but that’s very suspicious that the same product comes out of the same area under 4 different company names. TL;DR: Poor fit and finish. Sold by one of 4 companies that sell the same product with the same issues that are all located in the same vicinity. ... show more
