    • Awkward velcro closure at neck

As some other reviewers have mentioned, the velcro closure at the neck is positioned in a really weird way that means the cape doesn't lie flat in the front. I could deal with it for a costume for one day, and if I'd had more time, I would have removed one of the velcro tabs and sewn it on elsewhere, as another reviewer suggested. Other than that, it's fine; nothing fancy. You'll need to steam/iron it before wearing it, though; just FYI. ... show more

Realistically, it just looks like a huge bib with a velcro fastener. It doesn't look remotely "superhero-like." The material is a nice satin-like fabric.
