So yes, these are a knock off of Chucks, but I had to try these. The Converse I bought were so hard and hurt my feet terribly. I had to return them. These have a nice and bendy sole. The inside feels much better. I will have to wear socks, but I usually do anyway. This color is great, the toe box is nice and roomy, and they are a dead ringer for the original sans the logo. I have difficult to fit feet. I’m slight longer than a women’s 10, but nowhere near an 11. I’m also slightly on the wide side. So, finding these in 10.5 was great! They are roomy enough for my wide feet too. They fit well, even with socks on. I didn’t want to spend the money for name brand Chucks. These are just to wear to sporting events and my team’s colors are navy and orange (Wahoowa, UVA)! They appear to be comfortable enough to get me through basketball season. I am not an athlete; I bought these for light-duty use--so I don't know how they would be on a day-in-day-out basis. But for making outfits cute from time to time, these more than do the job. I'm 57 years old and am not quite ready for the helmet-hair and sensible-shoes look. I noticed a trend among my peers--a lot of them are wearing pink low=top C*nv*rs* knock-off sneakers. I wanted to be a little different (and this manufacturer happened to be out of pink sneakers), These shoes look cute with midi skirts, maxi skirts, knee-length skirts, jeans, and Bermuda shorts. I just got a caramel-colored midi-dress for fall, and these orange shoes are going to look super with the dress and a casual bag with a brown-orange-tan mushroom motif. Wore these shoes for 2 days, customized them with tiny patches and could not figure out why one felt weird. Both are size 9.5 as it says on the inner sole of the shoe.... when I took them off today I realized that the tongue of the shoes were different. One says 8.5 and the other 9.5! Wish I would have bought this sooner because now I am unable to return them. Love the color so I did end up buying them again. Hopefully I won't get the same problem. ... show more
