The trim piece all the way around the ankle irritated my daughter's ankle. But it was the seam where that trim was sewn together that was so rough it tore the skin off of her ankle! We were away from home all day walking a lot and she was stuck wearing shoes that caused her ankles to bleed. Afterwards, even if she wore thick high socks it still rubbed her ankle uncomfortably. We missed the 30-day return window because we were on vacation for 24 days. I will try to contact Customer Service and see what they might be able to do. ... show more

My son likes these, they are comfortable although they have not worn well, of course the white stains easy, and the sole where it connects into the fabric seems a little worn and frayed. All in all these are a good shoe though. better than Nikes any day!
