I bought large and I am really sort of an average guy (5ft 8). The elastic straps are WAY too small. You CAN still wear them, but they will push your ears out so you look like Alfred E. Newman. I really wanted to like this mask. It looks kind of cool and the material is comfortable. I think they could have solved this problem with an adjustable strap. Luckily I found others on Amazon that had that. This could be a good mask for you if you are small and you buy a large. Or if for some reason your ears are on your cheeks. ... show more

These are a nice, stretchy fabric. The tag says they are 93% polyester/7% spandex. They're a bit thicker than most plain, cotton masks, but still very breathable. I ordered the x-small/small size and it was too small for an adult woman both for face coverage and from pulling on my ears. I could only see them fitting someone very petite or a child; I'd suggest ordering the medium/large if you're debating. There is a second layer of fabric inside the mask that could allow for a separately purchased filter. There is no metal in the nose, but the mask has a nice form to it without it. ... show more

These masks are great. I've tried other sports masks for the gym and these work the best. I prefer them over the more expensive under armor masks. They are light weight, not too thick, and breathable. The xs/s size fits nicely, as I am a 5'6 women 140lbs. The same size also fits my 9 year old son pretty well, he prefers these over all the many kids versions we've tried. I also love the bright blue color, really compliments my eyes. ... show more

I've tried about 20 different styles if face masks and these are just in a league of there own! I can have this on and workout for 2 hours, while chewing gum and talk if I have to all without even once needing to pull it back up over my nose (or back down like how some ride up instead of down.) Material is very comfortable, easily washes, form fitting like a glove almost yet still comfortable. Easily the best face mask out there. expensive though, but still a lot cheaper than buying 20 different ones and all being bad. ... show more

    • Works as long as you don’t sweat

The mask fits and functions fine as long as you don’t perspire too much. It works fine for the first 40 min of my work out, if I end up working out longer and it becomes drenched in sweat it get sucked my nostrils and makes breathing extremely difficult, sometimes impossible. Several times I have had to run out of the gym because I can’t get air. The masks will stink up if not washed right after use. I would wear one switch it out until I had used all three and then washed them together. Well, the first wash went fine, by the second wash (6 days after first use) they all stank up (common sense since the material is a polyester blend) and no matter how much I soak and was them the smell won’t go away. I will be going back to the regular medical masks. This product doesn’t function like I need it to, if I work out for more than an hour, I begin having problems breathing due to the mask obstructing my airways regardless if I breath in through my nose or mouth, or both. The masks themselves are fine. However the ear loops are very small and not adjustable. As a result they make the mask very tight and they hurt my ears. To fix that I ordered adjustable ear loops on Amazon, cut the original ones off and sewed the adjustable ones in their place. The masks are now very comfortable.
