This bag works well for its purpose. It's larger than I expected, but that's good. It's not going to protect from rain (the top cinches but doesn't close completely, which shouldn't be expected anyway). Materials seem high quality, including the cords which are nice and thick. I couldn't wear this all day as a backpack, but that's not its purpose. I originally bought this as a day pack for a trip, but decided to get a more traditional backpack instead (for comfort).
